Dagdag Singil sa PhilHealth Contribution, Tuloy na Tuloy Na!





MANILA, Philippines — WALA nang makakapigil pa sa Philippine Health Insurance Corp. o PhilHealth sa pagpapa-implementa sa plano nitong taasan ang kontribusyon ng mga miyembro nito simula Enero 2021.

Sa inilabas na pahayag ng PhilHealth, layunin umano ng dagdag kontribusyon simula Enero na masigurong may sapat na pondo ang ahensiya para sa healthcare benefits ng 110 million na miyembro nito base na rin sa mandato ng Republic Act No. 11223 or the UniversalHealth Care (UHC) Law

“The premium adjustment is provided for in Section 10 of the UHC Law and  its implementing rules and regulation, the guidelines of which are contained in Circular 2020-005 published by PhilHealth on March 5, 2020,”

Katumbas ito ng P350 na kontribusyon para sa mga sumasahod ng hanggang P10,000 kada buwan habang P350 hanggang P2,499.99 para sa mga may buwanang sahod na P10,000 hanggang P70,000.

Nasa P2,450 ang fixed contribution para sa mga sumusuweldo ng P70,000 pataas.

Pinaghahatiaan ng employer at empleyado ang pagbabayad ng kontribusyon sa PhilHealth habang buo naman itong papasanin ng self-paying members, professional practitioners, land-based migrant workers at iba pang direct contributors na walang employer-employee relationship.


“Contributors of employed members (including Kasambahays) shall be equally shared shared between employees and employers, while those of self-paying members, professional practitioners and land-based migrant workers and other direct contributors with no employee-employer relationship are computed straight based on their monthly earnings and paid wholly by the member,” ang naging pahayag ng PhilHealth.

Simula Dec. 2020: SSS, May Dagdag Requirements sa mga kukuha ng Loan o Benipisyo!






MANILA, Philippines — Bilang miyembro ng Social Security System o SSS, malaki ang posibilidad na nakatanggap kayo ng email mula sa ahensiya nitong buwan ng Disyembre ukol sa SSS Disbursement Account Enrollment Module o DAEM.

Napapaloob sa nasabing email ang dagdag na requirement na hinihingi ngayon ng SSS sa mga miyembro nitong mag-a-apply ng loan o benipisyo mula sa pension fund.

Ayon sa SSS, layunin nitong mapangalagaan ang mga miyembro laban sa "unauthorized access" sa kani-kanilang mga My.SSS accounts.

Para masiguro na mapupunta sa totoong miyembro ang loan o benipisyo, minabuti ng SSS na magdagdag ng security measures upang maiwasan ang hindi tamang paglalagay ng bank details at hindi otorisadong pag-file ng benipisyo o loan applications.

Ang nasabing pagbabago ay ipinatupad na ng SSS simula Disyembre 21 kung saan ang mga miyembro ay kinakailangan nang mag-sumite ng proof of ownership ng bank o e-wallet account na naka-enroll sa kanilang Disbursement Account Enrollment Module o DAEM sa SSS Website.



Dahil dito, nire-request ng SSS ang mga miyembrong mag-log in sa kani-kanilang mga My.SSS Account sa SSS Website at i-submit o i-upload ang alinman sa mga sumusunod bilang proof of account sa pamamagitan ng DAEM. Siguruhing makikita dito ang iyong kompletong pangalan at account number o mobile number para sa verification o approval ng inyong disbursement account.

  • Bank Certificate o Bank Statement (issued not later than 2019)
  • Screenshot ng mobile app account para sa e-wallet

ALAMIN: Bagong Savings Program ng SSS Simula Enero 2021






MANILA, Philippines — INILABAS na ng Social Security System o SSS ang guidelines para sa pagpapa-enrol ng mga miyembro nito sa bagong mandatory provident fund o MPF Program.

Magsisimula ngayong Enero 2021 ang bagong provident fund ng SSS na tatawaging Worker’s Investment and Savings Program (WISP) na magbibigay ng dagdag na protection sa mga miyembro ng SSS.

Ayon sa SSS sa ilalim ng WISP, mabibigyan ng retirement, total disability at death benefits ang mga miyembro nito maliban pa sa regular na mga benipisyong nakukuha ng mga ito sa SSS.
“It allows faster accumulation of a worker’s savings because of the employer share in the contribution. Moreover, WISP contributions will be invested following the principles of safety, high yield, and liquidity, and as provided under the SS Act of 2018, which will yield additional pension income for contributing members,” ang naging pahayag ni SSS president and chief executive officer Aurora Ignacio.

Sakop ng WISP ang lahat na SSS members na may contribution sa regular SSS program at may monthly salary credits na mahigit sa P20,000. Sakop din nito ang mga miyembrong wala pang final claim sa kanilang regular SSS program.

Bukod sa higit P20,000 sahod, puwede ring sumali sa programa ang mga overseas Filipino worker, self employed, at voluntary members.

Babayaran naman ang contribution sa WISP kasabay ng pagbabayad sa contribution sa ilalim ng Regular SSS program.

“Enrolment in the MPF Program shall be automatic when MSC exceeds P20,000 starting applicable month of January 2021,” 

“MPF contributions shall be the prescribed contribution rate times MSC in excess of P20,000 up to the prescribed maximum MSC,” pahayag ng SSS.

Simula Enero 2021, obligado nang kakaltasan ang mga kuwalipikado sa programa.
"It's a provident fund, it's another layer, it's your second layer of protection. Additional benefits ito to supplement your pension benefits," paliwanag ni Joy Villacorta, vice president ng benefits administration ng SSS.

Bilang halimbawa, ang isang empleyado na may MSC na P25,000 at  13% ang contribution rate, kailangan nitong magbayad ng P3, 250. Sa nabanggit na halaga, P2,600 ang mapupunta sa regular social security fund at P650 naman sa WISP fund.

Papatawan ng penalty na 2% per month sa kanilang total contributions ang mga miyembrong hindi o huling makapagbayad ng contribution.

Paliwanag ng SSS, hindi naman pinapayagan ang withdrawal of contributions sa nabanggit na programa.

Magiging basehan naman ng WISP benefits ang naipong accumulated account value ng isang miyembro at panahon ng claims para sa retirement, total disability o death.
Sabay namang ibibigay sa miyembro ang mga benipisyo nito kasama na ang SSS regular benefits sa pamamagitan ng lump sum o annuity

“Annuity shall be given in the form of fixed amount of monthly pension, to be paid until the member’s account value is fully settled, covering at least 15 years,” dagdag sa pahayag ng SSS.

Sakali naman umanong namatay ang pensioner, mapupunta sa beneficiary nito sa pamamagitan ng lumpsum ang natitira nitong balanse sa programa.

P6,000 Standard Salary ng mga Kasambahay sa Buong Bansa, Pinag-aaralan ng DOLE



MANILA, Philippines —  Iminumungkahi ngayon ng Department of Labor and Employment o DOLE ang pagkakaroon ng P6,000 na standard salary para sa mga kasambahay sa buong bansa dahil sobrang baba umano ang kasalukuyang rate na nasa P2,000 hanggang P3,000.

Sa isang pahayag kinumperma ni Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III na inutos na nito sa iba pang opisyal ng DOLE na pag-aralan ang posibilidad kung maaari bang ipatupad ang P6,000 na pasahod sa mga kasambahay sa buong Pilipinas.

Naniniwala si Bello na nararapat lamang ang nasabing sweldo para sa mga kasambahay ngunit nilinaw nito na proposal pa lamang ang kanyang iminumungkahing P6,000.

“’Yong tungkol sa mga kasambahay, proposal pa lang ‘yon na ‘yong P6,000. Pero ako, sa tingin ko resonable ‘yong P6,000,” ani Bello sa virtual press briefing.

Kung hindi aniya kaya ng employer ang naturang pasahod ay makabubuting huwag na lang silang kumuha ng kasambahay at sila na lang ang gumawa ng mga gawaing-bahay.

“In my opinion, there should be P6,000 nationwide minimum wage rate for all domestic workers. Don’t hire housemates for a meager P2,000 to P3,000. That’s too low,” pahayag ni Bello.

“What I prefer is, regardless if they are in Isabela or Mindanao, the salaries of household workers will be the same.”

“If you cannot afford P6,000, then do the work yourself. You do the cleaning, laundry, and others by yourself. Don’t hire [a] housemaid for a very meager amount of P3,000, masyadong mababa ‘yon,” dagdag niya.

Sa buwanang P6,000 maaari nang mapaaral ng isang kasambahay ang mga anak nito.

“I believe P6,000 is already a reasonable amount. You can already send a child to school with that,” dagdag pa ng opisyal.

Nilinaw din ng opisyal na bawat taon, nagkakaroon ng wage adjustment ngunit mas maganda umano kung pare-pareho na ang halaga ng sahod ng mga kasambahay sa Metro Manila at mga lalawigan.

Sa ilalim ng Kasambahay Law, ang minimum wage ng household worker ay naka-depende sa rate na itinakda ng Regional Tripartite and Productivity Wage Boards (RTPWBs). Sa ngayon ang National Capital Region o NCR ang may pinaka-mataas na minimum wage rate ng mga kasambahay na nasa P5,000.

Nagpa-alala din ang DOLE na labag sa batas ang pagkuha ng domestic workers na mas mababa sa 15-anyos ang edad.

Una nang isinusulong ng isang child rights group na mas mabuting gawing 18-anyos pataas ang mga papayagang maging kasambahay upang maproteksiyunan ang mga kabataan.

Paano Maitama ang Iyong SSS Membership's Records




Manila, Philippines — Bilang isang miyembro ng Social Security System o SSS, napaka-importanteng i-check kung tama ang lahat na impormasyong nasa membership record mo.

Ito'y dahil malaki ang posibilidad na ma-delay ang proseso ng loan o benefit claim sa SSS kung may makikitang discrepancies sa pangalan o birthday ng isang myembro.

Ito'y dahil mabusisi na ang SSS kung lehitimo ang ideneklarang pangalan at birthday ng SSS member lalo na kung ito ay nag-apply para sa final benefit claim kagaya na lamang ng Retirement, Total Disability at Death.

Sa ngayon, mas madali na para sa mga SSS members na i-check ang kanilang membership information online o sa pamamagitan ng kanilang My.SSS accounts na hindi na kinakailangan pang bumisita sa mga SSS branches.

Kabilang sa mga particular record na dapat i-verify para ma-update, mabago o maitama ay ang mga sumusunod:
  • Name (First, Middle, Last)
  • Date of Birth
  • Membership Type
  • Membership Status
  • Marital Status
  • Gender
  • Beneficiaries (Spouse, Children, others)
  • Contact Information (Address, Telephone/Mobile Number, E-mail Address)
  • Bank Information
Para mabago o maitama, kailangan lamang ng miyembro na punan ang Member Data Chage Request Form o SS Form E-4 na maaaring makukuha sa pinakamalapit na SSS branch sa inyong lugar o ma-download mula sa SSS website na www.sss.gov.ph.

Iba-iba ang mga documentary requirements na kailangang isumite kasama ng request form dahil na-aayon ito sa particular record na gusto mong baguhin o itama, maliban na lamang sa kopya ng UMID o SSS ID Card o alinmang valid IDs para sa proper identification ng account ownership.

Para sa Change of Name o Correction of Date of Birth:

Kailangan lamang mag-sumite ng Birth Certificate o passport, kung wala nito, mag-presenta ng Certificate of Non-Availability of Birth Records mula sa City o Municipal Civil Registrar o Philippine Statistics Authority o National Archives.

Mag-presenta ng dalawang valid IDs na may pirma at picture o documents kung saan makikita ang date of birth.


Para sa Change of Membership:

Walang required documents para sa pagbabago ng membership status mula sa self-employed o voluntary.

Ngunit kailangang mag-presenta ng Marriage Contract o Marriage Certificate at working spouse's consent kung ang pagbabago ay para sa Non-Working Spouse.

Para sa Basic Updating ng Membership Status mula sa “Temporary to Permanent,”:

Kailangang mag-sumite ng Birth Certificate, kung wala nito, Certificate of Non-Availability of Birth Records mula sa City o Municipal Civil Registrar o Philippine Statistics Authority
Baptismal Certificate o Driver’s License, o Passport, o PRC Card o Seaman’s Book.

Kung wala ka ng nasabing mga IDs, mag-presenta ng alinmang IDs na may pirma at isang picture o dokumentong nagpapakita ng tamang pangalan at date of birth.


Para sa Change of Marital o Civil Status:

Mula sa Single papuntang Married, kailangang mag-sumite ng miyembro ng Marriage Contract/Marriage Certificate.

Mula sa Married papuntang Legally Separated, kailangang mag-sumite ng Decree of Legal Separation.

Mula Married papuntang Widowed, kailangang mag-sumite ng Death Certificate of spouse o Court Order on the Declaration of Presumptive Death of spouse.

Para sa Correction ng Sex o Gender:

Kailangang mag-sumite ng miyembro ng Birth Certificate, o Passport, o kopya ng SSS personal record kung saan makikita ang gender o court order na nagbibigay ng petition para sa correction ng gender na may maling entry ng gender sa birth certificate.

Para sa Updating ng mga Beneficiary o Beneficiaries:

Kailangang mag-sumite ng Marriage Contract o Marriage Certificate kung ang asawa ang idadagdag.

Birth certificate o Baptismal certificate kung ang anak ang ilalagay bilang benepisyaryo.

Para sa deletion of previously reported spouse, kailangang mag-sumite ang miyembro ng Decree of Legal Separation.

Kung legally separated, death certificate ang kailangang isumite kung namatay ang asawa habang Certificate of Finality of Annulment o Annotated Marriage Contract/Certificate kung na-annul o ideneklaran void o walang bisa ang kasal.

Wala namang dokumentong kailangang isumite para sa pag-a-update ng Contact Information at maaari itong gawin sa SSS Mobiel App o sa My.SSS account sa SSS website.

Kaugnay nito, hinihiling ng SSS sa mga miyembro na i-verify na ang kanilang mga membership record dahil importante ito para sa mabilis at hassle-free na processing ng loan at benefit applications.
