Due to the growing demands to improve government's respond to the needs of the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) abroad, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) is set to establish a command center that will render assistance to the OFWs in need.
Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano said they will also increase the frequencies of their meeting with DOLE and its attached agencies, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration.
