STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE ON HOW TO AVAIL GOVERNMENT HOUSING PROGRAM


Committed to housing the indigent Filipinos, the National Housing Authority (NHA) reiterates its mission to provide adequate and affordable housing to low income and under privileged families. NHA would like to emphasize that its
housing program only caters to the lowest 30%, the poorest of the urban population. Link here



Based  on  the  UDHA,  the  eligibility  criteria  to  avail  government  housing  are  the following: 

 1)  Must  be  a  Filipino  citizen;

 2)  Must  be  an   underprivileged  and homeless citizen.

 3)  Must  not own  any  real  property whether  in  the urban or  rural  areas.
  4) Must not be a professional squatter or a member of squatting syndicates.



A. SWORN APPLICATION FORM “A”
(TO BE PROVIDED BY SECRETARIAT, BFP HOUSING COMMITTEE)
B . PROOF OF INCOME (ANY OF THE FOLLOWING)
1. Employer’s Certificate of Compensation Issued by Finance Unit (original)
2. BIR Certified Latest Income Tax Return (original to be presented and photocopy)
C . PROOF OF IDENTITY / CIVIL STATUS
For Single Applicants
1. Birth Certificate  Civil Registry or NSO (certified copy and photocopy)
2. BFP ID (original to be presented and photocopy back to back)
For Married Applicants
1. Birth Certificate Civil Registry or NSO (certified copy and photocopy)
2. Marriage Contract (photocopy)
3. BFP ID (original to be presented and photocopy back to back)
4. Affidavit of Separation -In-Fact for applicants not legally separated/annulled

(Kalipunan ng Damayang Mahihirap) members of the urban poor groupi nvaded the idle housing units in Pandi, Bulacan. They illegally occupied the said houses. No requirements and notification with the National Housing Authority was submitted prior to occupancy.

Make sure that if you buy a house, it meets all your needs and priorities that make you happy . Think about the location, structure and safety of your house to have a friendly and harmonious environment.     6. Start negotiating and making an offer  Once you have found your dream house, make sure you are tough and wise in negotiating the best possible deal to finalize the buying process. This is included the both price and terms that you proposed.    8. Get your insurance  It's not bad to be wise all the time and be prepared always. Just imagined if a car owner, drive without insurance? What will happen? This is also what will happen if you decide to be a homeowner. We can't predict the accidents or bad events. But if something wrong happens, insurance will be your shoulder to lean on to help you lift up again.    9. Close the deal  In closing the deal make sure that before signing all the papers and documents you need to read it very carefully. You check all the terms and agreement. Wait for a couple of days for your loan to be funded after you returned all the papers to the lender. Once the check is delivered to the seller, you've done the process.
