Indonesia: Body of a Young Man Found Inside the Belly of a Python



A 25 year-old man only known by the name "Akbar" was found inside the belly of a huge snake in Salubiro, Mateng (West Sulawesi) in Indonesia. Akbar's body was found intact inside the stomach of the python. The snake specie who swallowed his entire body, from head to toe is commonly known as reticulated python. Akbar is a worker at a palm plantation where the python thrives. On Sunday night at around 9PM, the victim departed from their house and went to the palm plantation and did not returned until the next day. `His family and friends searched for him. At around 10 in the evening as the residents fervently search for the whereabouts of Akbar, they pound a huge snake with a bulging belly at the palm plantation where Akbar was working. They managed to catch the snake and suspected that something or someone is inside the snakes unusual potbelly. They cut the belly of the python open and found the lifeless body of Akbar inside. From the looks of the scattered palm he harvested, locals believe that the python attached akbar from behind. The python that literally swallowed Akbar belong to a family of tribal Pythonidae that are large and have a body size that is said to be the longest among other snake.The biggest size is said to exceed 8.5 meters and is the longest snake in the world. Akbar is a worker at a palm plantation where the python believed to be dwelling. On Sunday night at around 9PM, the victim departed from their house and went to the palm plantation and did not returned until the next day. 
His family and friends searched for him. At around 10 in the evening as the residents fervently search for the whereabouts of Akbar, they found a huge snake with a bulging belly at the palm plantation where Akbar was working. They managed to catch the snake and suspected that something or someone is inside the snakes unusual potbelly.
