VIDEO: OFWs in Najran, Saudi Ask For Help From Philippine Government

OFWs stranded at the border of Saudi Arabia and Yemen are asking for help as they fear for their safety.

Those working in Najran hears explosions almost everyday and many are thinking of leaving because of the escalating tension in the Middle East.

Vice Consul Alexander Joseph Estomos said the Philippine government has not issued any alert level to Filipino community in Najran.

Should the situation turn worse the consulate is ready to execute the necessary measures.

He added, to those who wish to go home, they can file resignation and inform their employers  their concern or their agency and consulate or POLO.
Based on records, there are about 5,000 Filipinos working in Najran and Jizan Saudi Arabia.
