Because of good salary offer, many Filipinos want to work in Canada in spite of its cold weather, and if given a chance, they also want to settle there for good.

For those who wants to migrate in Canada, here are five "proven" and fast ways.

1. Work Permit with Job Offer

Find a job opportunity to Canada, apply, get hired and get a work permit. What you need to do is to be a skilled worker, which means you a proper training and work experience. If you meet the requirements, apply for a job and get a chance to have a Canadian employer.

With a work permit, you have a high chances of becoming the permanent resident of Canada. This is one of the easiest ways to migrate to Canada.

The following are the latest job offer approved by Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) to Canada.

2. Visitor Visa

Visitor visa gives you a chance to enjoy the beauty of Canada for the maximum period of six months. If you plan to migrate to Canada with a Visitor Visa, you must not work because a work permit is needed. Visitor visa is a part-time migration and you need to go back to the country after six months.

3. Student Permit

This is one of the easiest ways to become a permanent resident of Canada, although you will need a lot of money or a good scholarship to enroll at any Canadian universities.

Student Permit doesn’t automatically make you a permanent resident. Rather, when you apply for a student permit and get it, you can inspect what you need to do to be a permanent resident while studying in the said country. Your university may also help you with the information. After you get your student permit, you can proceed to obtain information on how to be a permanent resident in Provincial Nominee Program website of the Canadian province where you will study.

4. Apply as Au-Pair (Live-in Caregiver)

If you are in Au-pair career, you can easily migrate to Canada. Live-in caregivers are considered to be a low-qualified career and job. All you need to do is find a job offer from a particular or specific Canadian family or a job offer from an Au-pair agency from Canada.

You need a Work Permit to work as an Au-pair in Canada. You can get this when you find Canadian family who will send you a job offer. Also, you can find a Canadian live-in caregiver agency.

It is a must to have at least four years of high school education and one year of experience in the Au-pair jobs to get the Work Permit visa. Upon your arrival in Canada, where you will work as a Live-in caregiver, you will be given the permanent residence.

5. Marry a Canadian-born citizen

You may think this is funny but this is a valid and easy way if you want to migrate to Canada and be a Canadian permanent citizen. If you married a Canadian borne-citizen, you will be having the right to apply for permanent Canadian citizenship.

In addition, Canada is one of the countries that legalized same-sex marriage.
