TESDA To "Tambays": Train With Us!

The Duterte government started a crackdown against loiterers or "tambays," whom he described as "potential trouble for the public."  The campaign is meant to promote peace and order and strictly implement local ordinances.
The word "tambay" is basically those who do nothing but to stay on the streets as time passes. You can see most of them on sidewalks doing their drinking sessions. Most of them are jobless.
Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) urges these people to undergo skills training with them and make their lots of spare time productive rather than staying on the streets waiting for the time to pass by.
When they are done, they can have a skills certificate that they can be proud of.

If you know someone without a job and letting their time pass by unproductively, urge them to use their time by availing the free training courses offered by TESDA. It can also keep them safe from being invited by authorities and considered loiterers.
TESDA offers short courses, the shortest of which only take 11 days to complete.
TESDA also offers construction courses which can give an instant job to the completers via Build Build Build project which needs skilled construction workers.

Everyone can enroll at TESDA regardless of age, gender or status. All you need to do is to go to the nearest TESDA  office in your area and enroll or to reserve a slot. All courses that have National Certificate require that the trainee has graduated from high school.
if you are not a high school graduate, you can still train but without an NC.

TESDA encourages everyone to make our life productive by learning useful skills.
