UAE Gives Free Visa For Children Below 18 Years Old

In accordance with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) position in the global tourism sector to make it a prime destination, the number of passengers traveling through the country's airports jumped to 32.8 million during the first quarter of 2018.

In June, passengers transiting through the country's airports were exempted from all entry fees for the first 48 hours. Transit visas can have an extension up to 96 hours for Dh50. Express counters were set up in passport control halls at all airports to facilitate the process.

This month, tourism fees in Dubai and Abu Dhabi were also reduced to help stem a fall in room rates and boost occupancy levels. Another thing, to boost tourism and attract the visitors and their families, the visa fee for minors below 18 years old have been waived.
