Undeniably, social media is a big help for migrant workers such as Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW). With this tool, we become closer to people who are far away from us. We also love posting status and pictures on social media to show our friend and families about our whereabouts.
With the birth of "Facebook Live", we are able to broadcast ourselves live and let the online community see what we are doing. But like any other thing, we should use this instrument with limitation especially if we are working in other countries where cultural differences exist.

In line with this, the Asian Migrants’ Coordinating Body spokeswoman Eni Lestari said the case might have involved issues of cultural differences. She added that the government had responsibilities to provide guidelines for domestic helpers about unacceptable behavior while working in the other countries.
