Low Placement Fees For OFWs In This Country, Soon

One of the many problems encountered by overseas Filipino workers (OFW) prior to their deployment is the high placement fees collected by recruitment agencies aside from processing and medical fees and other expenses in securing various documents in applying for overseas jobs. For that reason, they are forced to sell their properties or to avail loans even on a high interest rate. But for the OFW caregivers who are applying for deployment to Israel, the placement fees will become lower as a new bilateral agreement is being forged between the two countries.

Imperial also took pride in saying that labor conditions in Israel are some of the best in the Middle East.  “Workers here receive the highest minimum wage in all of the Middle East. And they have days off, they have the right to worship and practice their faith,” he added. “And as you know this is the Holy Land. Under the Land Regulatory Authority’s (LRA) Land Titling Conversion Project, original titles in the Registry of Deeds are now stored in digital databases while the landowner’s duplicate copies of land title can now be converted to e-titles.    In a video uploaded by LRA, physical copies of land titles are prone to get lost, production of multiple fake copies, fire, and other natural disasters that may damage the physical copies. Landowners will also no longer need to pay hefty fees in securing another copy of the land title when their duplicate copies are lost.    Moreover, e-titles also have security features to further protect the legitimacy of the land title.    Landowners need to bring their duplicate land title copies and other required documents to the Registry of Deeds or nearest satellite office. The LRA personnel will then compare the duplicate copy to the original copy stored in their database.    Once validated, the physical copy will then be converted to e-titles for a minimal fee. The e-title will be available for pick-up after a few days.   The Land Registration Authority has been implementing the Voluntary Title Standardization Program. It provides title owners the option to upgrade manually-issued titles to “eTitles”, which are issued by LRA’s new Computerized System.  LRA’s Computerized System was developed as part of the agency’s Land Titling Computerization Project, which aims, among others, to:  1. Maintain on-line information on titles that is current, complete and accurate. 2. Maintain the security and integrity of records by safeguarding these from tampering or destruction and deter substitution or insertion of questionable data, in paper or digital form; and 3. Provide a system of timely detection and identification of fake land titles which will assist in the identification of persons responsible, therefore.  How Do You Convert Your Land Title to eTitle?  Bring your owner’s duplicate title and other required documents to the registry of deeds or the nearest satellite office. The LRA personnel will match the duplicate copy to the original to validate authenticity.  Once validated, the conversion process of your manual title to eTitle will commence. And after a few days, your owner’s duplicate eTitle will be ready for pick-up–all for a price of a movie date. You can experience snow in Bolivia in mountains surrounding La Paz. All you need is a certain level of fitness and energy to climb to the top of the glaciers. Even if you are beginners, you can climb because slopes are average and having no experience is not important.



9. Brazil

There is a lot of cities in Brazil that are located in higher altitudes in the southern region that have a snow every year. You can visit the Rio Grande do Sul, Parana, and Santa Catarina.



10. Vietnam

Much closer to the Philippines, since it is located, Southeast Asia. But don't your know that there's a snow in Vietnam? Yes and you can found it in Sapa. Sapa is widely known as the most wonderful snowfall scene in Vietnam.

Snow practically falls at the end of December which is a great time for a Christmas holiday and New Year vacation. This place is considered to be ideal for tourist to experience a snowy winter in a tropical climate nation.

Other areas in the country such as Tam Dao, Dong Van, and Mau Son Mountain also experience snow during the later part of the year.

ISRAEL TO HIRE HUNDREDS OF OFWS FOR HOTEL JOBS

500 to 700 Filipinos are targeted to be the hired in Israel hotels, the Department of Tourism (DOT) disclosed, following the bilateral meeting between tourism officials from both countries.  Tourism Undersecretary Benito Bengzon, Jr. recently took part in a bilateral meeting between the Philippine Tourism delegation and Israel Tourism Minister Yariv Levin.   The bilateral agreement is based on mutual interests among  both the Philippines and Israel travelers. Many Filipinos are pilgrims to the Holy Land and then visit Israel’s museums, historical landmarks and ecotourism sites. Likewise, Israelis are drawn to our country mainly for vacation and leisure. At an average of 20 nights per trip, their favorite places include Manila, Cebu, Boracay, Palawan, Banaue and Puerto Galera.  "Diving, shopping, interesting culture and the warmth of our people are what they like most,” Tourism Secretary Wanda Corazon Teo said.  During the meeting, the tourism officials discussed the hiring of Filipinos in luxury hotels in Israel and the providing of on-the-job trainings for Filipino students in this Middle East country.  “We are now open to hiring Filipinos to work in the hotel industry, especially the high-end hotels in Israel. An initial 500-700 Filipinos is being targeted. We are also exploring to allow on-the-job trainings in these hotels,” Levin said.  “We will immediately coordinate with all stakeholders concerned to fast track the implementation of hiring Filipinos in Israel hotels,” Bengzon assured.  According to Philippine Ambassador to Israel Neal Imperial, the prospect of hiring Filipinos will be coordinated with the Department of Labor and Employment and  the Commission on Higher Education for the on-the-job trainees. 500 to 700 Filipinos are targeted to be the hired in Israel hotels, the Department of Tourism (DOT) disclosed, following the bilateral meeting between tourism officials from both countries.

Tourism Undersecretary Benito Bengzon, Jr. recently took part in a bilateral meeting between the Philippine Tourism delegation and Israel Tourism Minister Yariv Levin.



The bilateral agreement is based on mutual interests among  both the Philippines and Israel 
travelers. Many Filipinos are pilgrims to the Holy Land and then visit Israel’s museums, historical landmarks and ecotourism sites. Likewise, Israelis are drawn to our country mainly for vacation and leisure. At an average of 20 nights per trip, their favorite places include Manila, Cebu, Boracay, Palawan, Banaue and Puerto Galera. 
"Diving, shopping, interesting culture and the warmth of our people are what they like most,” Tourism Secretary Wanda Corazon Teo said.

During the meeting, the tourism officials discussed the hiring of Filipinos in luxury hotels in Israel and the providing of on-the-job trainings for Filipino students in this Middle East country.

“We are now open to hiring Filipinos to work in the hotel industry, especially the high-end hotels in Israel. An initial 500-700 Filipinos is being targeted. We are also exploring to allow on-the-job trainings in these hotels,” Levin said.

“We will immediately coordinate with all stakeholders concerned to fast track the implementation of hiring Filipinos in Israel hotels,” Bengzon assured.

According to Philippine Ambassador to Israel Neal Imperial, the prospect of hiring Filipinos will be coordinated with the Department of Labor and Employment and  the Commission on Higher Education for the on-the-job trainees.

China's plans to hire Filipino household workers to their five major cities including Beijing and Shanghai, was reported at a local newspaper Philippine Star. it could be a big break for the household workers who are trying their luck in finding greener pastures by working overseas  China is offering up to P100,000  a month, or about HK$15,000.
