There are many assumptions of her real age but the young lady from Lanang, Davao City is already 14. Ads If you will just look at Alexandra Siang, you will hardly know her real age. With a height of only four and a half feet, small hands and feet, and speaking in a small high pitch voice, you will say that you are looking on a six-year-old girl During her childhood, the young lady had a severe ailment. She had Stage 2 Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis. She was only seven months old when she underwent chemotherapy. Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) is rare cancer involving clonal proliferation of Langerhans cells, abnormal cells deriving from bone marrow and capable of migrating from the skin to lymph nodes. Clinically, its manifestations range from isolated bone lesions to multisystem disease. According to Dr. Cheryl Lyn Diez, a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist chemotherapy has nothing to do with her seemingly not getting the old look but LCH has a possibility to be the reason. Ads Sponsored Links She really looks several years younger than normal teens her age. She admits that she also experienced bullying and some indecent remarks. There are also instances that some people posts edited photos of her with lewd captions. In spite of her being "different," Alexandra is so thankful for her friends who accept her for what she is and for her loving parents and siblings who are always there for her. Alexandra is also proud that she survived cancer. Asking about what she wants to be when she "grows up", she said she wants to be a model.

Bio Diesel Plant in Davao Now Open; Diesel To Cost Only P16 Per Liter Soon

Aside from preventing oil dump on waterways, rivers and others, the newly opened biodiesel plant in Davao city could possibly lower the price of diesel to P16 per liter. With the initiative of the city government and help of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and two japan-based company, the plant which can process at least 1,000 liters of used cooking oil to biodiesel is now ready to operate. Shigeto Mizumo, of the company Biomass Japan Inc. said that the city could easily supply the daily requirement of used cooking oil as shown by a feasibility study. He also said that a year before the plant is completed, they were able to collect at least 250,000 liters of used cooking oil from around the city. According to assistant city administrator Dwight Tristan Domingo, there are at least 10 villages that could be used as used cooking oil collection points. "Advertisements" The opening ceremonies for the plant was led by Mayor Sara Duterte. She said that the biodiesel produced at the plant would cost only P16 per liter compared to the price of regular diesel which is P29 per liter. The biodiesel produced at the plant would be tested on 30 jeepneys for the next three monthys to determine fuel efficiency against regular diesel. Mizumo said that the biodiesel produced at the plant had already been tested on several government garbage trucks and "there has been no problem at all." After the three months dry run on 30 jeepneys, the biodiesel will be out for public vehicles.
