*UPDATE: PNP Chief Ronald Dela Rosa confirmed that the gunman is not a member or connected with the terror group ISIS. Reports said that the gunman killed himself by burning down the whole room 510 after splashing it with a flammable liquid, covered himself with a blanket and setting it on fire. The photo of the lone gunman was released by Southern Police District head Chief Supt. Tomas Apolinario to the media.

Gunshots were heard followed by the commotion of people inside the Resorts World in Pasay City just after midnight on Friday. Earlier unconfirmed statements of witnesses said that there are armed men who are wearing masks and black shirts inside the resort.
GMA News video earlier confirmed that there are 4 wounded men that are being responded by the Philippine National Red Cross. Latest reports said that a total of 37 dead bodies due to suffocation were recovered.
Another video from April Chiang recorded a gunshot fired at the Resorts World.
People were ordered to evacuate the area for their safety as the PNP personnel cordon the area.
The origin of gunshots is yet to be confirmed whether it is a possible terrorist attack.
Reports also said that a part of the building is on fire at the moment.
Resorts World is currently on lockdown following the reports of unidentified gunmen firing shots at guests and employees, according to the official page of the resort. PNP is currently securing the area.
