Visitors and residents coming to Dubai will soon walk straight from their plane without even the need to stop at passport control or the immigration via the new face-recognition software.
The Dubai government and the British company ObjectTech is said to work together in installing biometric tunnels that will scan people's faces as they make their way to the baggage claim counter after disembarking from the plane.
The walkway they called "biometric border" will take a 3D scan of people's faces while they enter the airport and then checks it against the digital passport using the face recognition software.

ObjectTech also developed the digital passport for the system. It contains fingerprints, iris scans and face-recognition data from the electronic chip in physical passports.
Dubai’s goal is to create the world’s first “gate-less border” where visitors can enter the city’s airport and be registered into the UAE using a pre-approved and entirely digitised passport without hassle and the face scanners are part of it.
