If you are an OFW in Saudi Arabia you probably know how popular Al Baik is.
Al Baik is the main broasted chicken food chain in Saudi Arabia. Wikipedia said that the Saudi government has stopped attempts for this very successful fast food chain to grow by limiting what regions of the country it can expand too.

Meanwhile, there are rumors that there is a possibility that the popular restaurant in Saudi will open in the Philippines.
However, the truth about it is yet to be verified without the official announcement from the company itself. The good news is, Al Baik is now open for franchising, as they website says.
So, Al Baik in Manila (Quezon City) can be possible but the company said they have started accepting "limited franchising requests". Unless the limits they mention does not remain within the bounds of KSA alone, any willing businessmen and women could always reach them out and apply for franchising and who knows this can be a reality in the future.
The largest number of OFWs are located in Saudi Arabia, the home of Al Baik. No wonder a lot of Filipinos are familiar with the popular chicken restaurant. It must have an extraordinary taste that people crave for it and pile up even before the opening of their chain.
You will see men (because maybe women can't stand a situation like this, I guess), young and old, children piling up. They don't seem to mind if they stumble, fall, being pushed and hurt just to make their way to the counter.
If it could finally reach Philippine crowd and Filipinos could have a bite of their famous chicken, would they be as crazy as the Saudi crowd?
Well, we will find out when Al Baik reached Manila. It maybe just rumors but some OFWs especially those who worked in Saudi Arabia cannot wait to have Al Baik in the Philippines.
