NAIA PILFERAGE NOT DEAD: OFW FROM HONGKONG LOST EXPENSIVE BAG AND VALUABLES

An OFW from Hong Kong lost her Longchamp bag that costs around HK$4,500 to HK$10,950 along with her passport,cards and other valuables while she was having a lunch with her family at Wendy's branch in the arrival lobby at the NAIA last Sept 12.
Johaima Alug,an OFW from Hong Kong,placed her Longchamp bag beside her while having lunch.Minutes later,she noticed that her bag was nowhere to be found.
The OFW asked PNP-AVSEU for help.CCTV footage showed that  five people,2 women and 3 men, worked together to steal Alug's bag.

Chief Supt. Mao Aplasca,director of PNP-AVSEGROUP,said they reviewed their records and CCTV footages from other cameras to find out how the suspects got away but found nothing at the moment.A follow-up investigation is being conducted  to find out the identity of the culprits that will lead to their arrest.
Manila International Airport Authority General Manager Ed Monreal ordered  the Airport Police Department to deploy more policemen in civilian clothes in areas where passengers and their families hang out before departure or after arrival at the NAIA.
