A friend of a Filipino domestic worker who was allegedly stabbed to death by her employer in Riyadh is appealing to President Duterte for help in her social media post.
She said that the victim, Norkisah Lymanh had wanted to return home as her contract was about to end but her employer would not allow her to do so. She also said that her employer stabbed the OFW but told the police authorities that she killed herself. She added that the remains of the OFW were scheduled for repatriation on May 14, 2018.

Fernandez said Lymanh was a good friend who had worked hard to provide for her family.
She said Lymanh’s employer did not allow her to use her mobile phone. She was only allowed to speak to her family in the Philippines when she sent them money.
On Lymanh’s passport she is listed as 26 years old (born in 1992). However, a statement issued by Dirab Police Station had Lymanh as 30, with her name spelled as “Nour Kishia”.
“His housemaid, NOUR KISHIA, age 30 years has stabbed herself by a knife (sic) to her chest inside the kitchen in their house,” is written in the report.
Fernandez urged people to share her post in the hope it would reach the Philippine government.
So far, there have been no reports in the media about the maid’s death or statements from the Philippine Embassy.
