From that account, they can electronically transfer the funds directly to the BPI accounts of their family member.  BPI Pamana Padala comes with a unique feature, the Remittance Continuation Plan which provides the free 90-day Personal Accident Insurance of P100,000 and life insurance coverage of up to P300,000. Through BPI Pamana Padala’s Free Remittance Continuation benefit, OFW will get a free life insurance coverage of up P300,000. He will be entitled to this as soon as there are four remittances to the Pamana Padala account within a 12-month period.  BPI Padala Moneyger This one is designed especially to those who received remittances from abroad! Or in short, the family here in the Philippines.  With BPI Padala Moneyger, the beneficiaries are now the ‘managers’ of the remittance sent. With this product, beneficiaries have a safe, secure, and efficient way of receiving the remittance. The account holder can use  BPI’s electronic banking services such as 24/7 online banking and ATMs to access the funds. BPI Padala Moneyger has no maintaining balance as long as there are four remittances made to the account in a year. How to apply for BPI Pamana Account?



Step 1. Please bring the following account opening requirements:
  • One (1) original, valid ID with photo and signature
  • Proof that you are an Overseas Filipino Worker
  • work contract
  • work visa / work permit
  • overseas employment certificate (from POEA)
  • OWWA ID
  • Seaman's book
  • CFO Certificate
  • PDOS Certificate
  • local residence id

Step 2. You will be asked to fill out the following bank forms:
  • Standard Account Opening forms
  • BPI Pamana Padala Enrollment for Group Life Insurance Coverage, to indicate:
  • Name of Insured. This is also the name of the account holder. For joint "OR" accounts, only the primary account holder shall be designated as the Insured Individual, provided that the designated Insured Individual is an eligible individual.
  • Name of Beneficiary/ies. It is recommended to nominate beneficiary/ies with blood relation to the Insured (ie spouse, children, parents or brothers, and sisters) or the estate administrator of the latter. Otherwise, the nominated beneficiary/ies will be subject to evaluation/approval based on the insurable interest as defined by the insurance company.
Step 3. A Proof of Cover for the Free 90-day Personal Accident Insurance will be given to you after you have opened the account.

For your Free Life Insurance coverage, this will take effect on the date of the fourth Foreign Inward Remittance made within a 12-month period. Your Proof of Cover for the Life Insurance will be sent to you at your nominated email address.

Step 4. The Debit card of your Pamana Padala account will be available at the branch of account opening after 3 banking days.

This one is designed especially to those who received remittances from abroad! Or in short, the family here in the Philippines.



With BPI Padala Moneyger, the beneficiaries are now the ‘managers’ of the remittance sent. With this product, beneficiaries have a safe, secure, and efficient way of receiving the remittance. The account holder can use BPI’s electronic banking services such as 24/7 online banking and ATMs to access the funds. BPI Padala Moneyger has no maintaining balance as long as there are four remittances made to the account in a year. 





How to open an BPI Padala Moneyger?



1. Please bring the following account opening requirements:

  • One (1) original, valid ID with photo and signature
  • Proof of remittance, such as any of the following
  • Copy of previous remittance transaction receipt (may be from pawnshops, remittance centers, etc.)
  • Copy of remitter’s work contract, work visa/work permit, overseas employment certificate from POEA, OWWA ID, ODOS certificate, etc.
  • Copy of statement of bank account showing remittance credit
  • Referral letter from BPI Overseas Customer Segment
  • This document may be presented upon claiming of debit card.

2. You will be asked to fill out the Standard Account Opening forms.

3. The Debit card of your Padala Moneyger account will be available at the branch of account opening after 3 banking days.
