PANOORIN: MEGA ILLEGAL DRUG LAB THAT CAN PRODUCE SHABU FOR THE ENTIRE COUNTRY, DISCOVERED IN PAMPANGA

An illegal drugs laboratory than can supply the entire country with shabu was discovered in Barangay Lacquios at the foot of Mt. Arayat last September 22.

According to the report, the huge shabu lab had a potential to produce 100 kilograms of shabu per day.

The discovery happens when a team of policemen, sanitation officer, fire protection, together with Arayat Mayor Emmanuel Alejandrino tried to inspect the gated and fenced property in Barangay Lacquios.

There are expensive-looking equipment and related machines for the mass production of shabu inside the property.

PDEA Region III information officer Glen Guillermo that the equipment inside the compound includes a combustion tower setup, a diesel-powered power generator, one industrial chiller, a set of power controllers, 7 units of industrial distillation setup, and a reaction mixer.

Pampanga Provincial Police Director Senior Supt. Rodolfo Recomono Jr. told that a gas chromatograph machine was also discovered inside the compound and was placed under the custody of the police crime laboratory.

Gas chromatograph machine determines the purity or quality of shabu or the finished product.

Recomono said the apparatus found inside the illegal drugs laboratory can produce 100 kilos or more shabu per day.

Just two weeks ago, one underground shabu laboratory was discovered in Magalang, also in Pampanga.

The discovery happens when authorities raid one piggery in the area.

Seven Chinese was arrested for allegedly operating the said shabu lab.
