VIDEO and TRANSCRIPT OF THE VICE GANDA JESSICA SOHO JOKE VERSION

I've never watched Vice Ganda shows but his concert comment/joke regarding Jessica Soho is mean and ugly and its not funny. Where is our decency? We cannot make a cruel joke at the expense of fat people, rape victims and referencing to words like "bold star" or "gang rape". What comes out of our mouth is surely what we have in mind.

TRANSCRIPT OF THE JESSICA SOHO JOKE VERSION

Pag-akyat ni Jessica Soho tumunog ang weighing scale: ‘One at a time. One at a time. One at a time.’ So bumaba ulit si Jessica Soho, nagalit.”
Tumunog ang weighing scale: ‘Please don’t play with the machine. Don’t play with the machine. One at a time. I told you one at a time. Don’t play with the machine.’ Nagalit si Jessica Soho.”
“Last try na talaga. So umakyat ulit si Jessica Soho sa weighing scale. Tumunog ang weighing scale: ‘You weight 180 per kilo.’ So ayaw na n’yang magpatimbang ulit.”
Tapos pinalabahan. Nung dinala sa laundry ang tsinekan: COMFORTER

In a statement sent to GMA News Online on Tuesday, Soho said: "Rape is not a joke and should never be material for a comedy concert."

She added: "I thank all those who shared my hurt and expressed their support, but this should not be about me but about rape victims who suffer tremendously from this terrible crime. The horrors they go through are unspeakable and should never be taken lightly, especially by way of a cruel joke."

LET US SEE GOOD IN OTHERS

Merong isang Japanese philosopher  who used to meet the people and teach them nung mga lessons of VIRTUE and Uprightness na nakukuha niya sa pagmamasid ng mga flowers at mga halaman na tumutubo ng abundantly sa Japan.
Isang umaga, pagkatapos ng kanyang lecture, ang matandang philosopher ay sinabihan ng isang workman;

Eventually yung summary ng story is that yung philosopher binigyan ng rose, hawthorn twig at lily each one according to their request and after nareceive nila, nagcomment kaagad ng mga ganito;

"Well, each of you has what
attracted him first. I left the thorn on the rose purposely, the dead leaf
on the hawthorn twig, and the dirt on the lily. Each of these attracted you
first. You may keep them now, and I will keep the rose, the twig, and the
lily for the beauty I see in them."

What do we see first to people? What do we see to those whom we meet
along the way?
Our tendency is to judge people on the way they look, they act,
or conduct their lives,
but do we see the reason or the 'big picture' why?
God knows each of us. God has a plan for each, different from each other.
We all have the same goal - to come back and live with Him.
But we have different roads to take, purposes to accomplish,
and in general, life to live.
I cannot compare they way I live with you since we come
from different backgrounds and circumstances.
But there is a common thread that binds us together.
We all have faith in one God, and He loves us.
We all have the ability to make a difference,
touching other's lives for good.
