NAIA HAS IT ALL-IMMIGRATION MODUS, TANIM-LAGLAG-BALA, STOLEN BAGGAGE ITEMS, TIPS FROM BAGGAGE BOYS, AND OVERCHARGING TAXI

American geophysicist based in the Philippines who lives in Makati: "You know, I love this country, but you have the worst airport in the world. The last thing arriving passengers want is to get hassled. And they won't allow Uber here."

From stolen or lost belongings to tanim-bala and other modus from the people surrounding the NAIA airport, even the porters and the baggage boys, and now the taxi's.
WHAT HAVE WE DONE TO DESERVE THIS KIND OF AIRPORT?

"The authorities should look into the alleged overcharging by airport taxis at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) as this can drive away tourists and give the country a bad image, there are a lot of dreadful stories circulating online about airport taxis notoriously overcharging and duping passengers -- whether they are local tourists, overseas Filipino workers, or foreigners visiting our country. Our transportation and airport authorities should look into this matter seriously and resolve this right away or else, Philippine tourism will suffer,” said Angara, vice chairman of the Senate tourism committee." - Senator Sonny Angara
