The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) wishes to remind the public that Filipinos who are currently employed overseas (land-based OFWs) and seaman's or those working as seafarers DO NOT NEED TO SECURE an ONLINE APPOINTMENT in order to process their passport application.
Land-based OFWs and seafarers must file their passport application within 12 months of their arrical in the Philippines.

What are the REQUIREMENTS?
LAND-BASED OFWs
1) Philippine Passport
2. Proof of Overseas Employment
3. Valid Philippines Government Issued IDs
4. Bring NSO copied Birth Certificate in case they will ask for additional documents

SEAMAN/SEAFARERS
1) Philippine Passport
2. Valid Seaman's Book
3. SRC ID
4. Valid Philippine Government Issued IDs

DFA NCR Central or Robinsons Galleria is the dedicated OFW PASSPORT RENEWAL CENTER.
Processing applications for all OFW walk-in applicants is from 8:00AM to 12:00 Noon. Queuing before 6AM is unnecessary and is not advisable.
