14 DOUBLE DECKER BUS FOR MOTORIST AFFECTED OF "NO WINDOW HOURS" IN METRO MANILA







The Department of Transportation (DOTr) launched 14 double-decker buses as a transport option for the motorist who will be affected by the "no window hours" in the major highway of Metro Manila starting October 17.

Those buses will be deployed 24 hours, Monday to Sunday and will ferry passengers on EDSA, C5, Mandaluyong, Alabang-Zapote, and Roxas Boulevard.

The buses were launched at the Point-to-Point (P2P) Bus Terminal in Trinoma in Quezon City.


FARE



The single journey fare is P55, and a round trip ticket is P80. However, the bus operator, Froehlich Tour offers a 50 percent discount or P25 for an unlimited ride during weekend mall hop operations.

Passengers can also choose the one-month unlimited ride promo for P1,300.

FEATURES





Fourteen buses include two VIP, seven semi-VIP, and five PWD-friendly buses.

VIP units are equipped with 52 reclining sleeper seat with monitors for movies, games, and other entertainment apps.



Its lower floor features a VIP cabin with a toilet, cooler, sofas, conference table, and two 50-inch flat screen TV monitors with KTV functions.



The VIP double-decker buses are also equipped with CCTV cameras and have passed Euro 5 emission standards.
