The Happy Planet Index (HPI) measures how the countries in the world deliver a long,happy and sustainable lives among its dwellers.This includes every aspect the people need to achieve longer lives and higher state of well being.
They are combining four elements:well-being(residents satisfaction in their over all living),inequality of outcomes(inequalities among the people as to how long they live and how happy they feel),life expectancy(the average duration of how long a person is expected to live.),and ecological footprint(the average impact a resident of a country places on the environment.

The HPI ranked the Phillipines 20th among the Happiest Country in the World based on the 4 elements as follows:
