An overseas Filipino worker (OFW) woman who had an illicit affair with another man decided to leave her husband and take her children with her was stabbed to death by her husband after a heated argument. The suspect surrendered himself to the authorities afterward. This is only one of many crimes of passion we often read in the news from time to time.

The man who allegedly stabbed his wife to death in Isabela, Negros Occidental surrendered himself to the authorities.
Arnaiz Arevalo 26, of Hacienda Alicante, Barangay Buhangin, Isabela turned himself in. He was accompanied by his uncle whos identity was not disclosed.
Arevalo is the suspect in killing his wife Angela, 26, an OFW who worked in Dubai for two years, sustained multiple stab wounds around 2:20 p.m. on Sunday. She was pronounced dead due to fatal stab wounds in different parts of her body. Angela went home to fetch her two kids and take them away from her husband. She allegedly has an illicit affair with another man from Mandaluyong City, who she brought with her in Isabela.
The confrontation elevated into a heated argument which resulted in a stabbing that resulted in the death of the OFW.
Arevalo fled and hid in a sugar plantation but was advised by his relatives to surrender.
The suspect is currently detained in the lockup facility of the municipal police station. The suspect is facing parricide charges according to Panay news report.
