Excitement turns into dismay, frustration, and anger of one family in Bulacan when they discovered what is inside of the balikbayan box they been waiting.
According to GMA News, the family of OFW, Joan Villacorta was very happy and excited when the balikbayan box from her arrived in Bulacan from Qatar.
The family is expecting to receive smart watch and perfumes for family members and friends.

But when they open the box, what they saw was a broken bike, old and rusty iron, old clothes, LED lights and firecrackers.
Remaining in the original items sent are only shoes and clothes for kids.
Lenie Villacorta said that before opening the box they noticed something wrong with it and it is already damaged.

Base on the tracking number of the package, the balikbayan box arrived in Pulilan, Bulacan delivery hub last December 26 and it was delivered in Villacorta family in San Miguel Bulacan on January 2.
GMA news added that they tried to get the side of the LBC but refused, to say they are investigating the incident.
The family already went to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to file a complaint.
