Gina Lopez Gave this Statement After She was Rejected by CA as DENR Secretary

Secretary Gina Lopez said the following during her interview after the Commission on Appointment rejected her as DENR Secretary.

"It is the constitutional right of every Filipino to have a a clean and healthy environment. I know how to eradicate poverty, ayan sana gusto kong gawin. At the end of the day, the Philippine Constitution is the premiere law of the country. You always talk about due process, but hey what about the rights of every Filipino people? All I'm saying they're going to make so much money from stockpiling. All I'm saying is give 2M for every magsasaka. What is wrong with giving 2M to the farmers? You should do it because that is the right thing to do. The 2M is for the farm lands. It is mandated in the constitution. It is the right of the DENR Secretary to ask that from you. I know there are laws and regulations, and I will follow the law but we decide how to navigate. The laws are not meant to be followed blindly! Why are you choosing which laws to follow? What about the farmers? What message are we showing here? That if you want to be confirmed as secretary you have to please them? 1/3 of the Filipinos depends on natural resources. Who suffers when you kill the environment? It's the poor! Because for you business and money is more important than people. This is not just my advocacy, but this is for all Filipinos to take care of the environment. Since politics is so unpredictable, I will do everything that I can for my policies. Which will bring on social justice. You can"t control the outcome. You have no control over politics. The most important thing for me is to be true. It's wrong when our lawmakers (some of them) serve the interest of others and not the people. You must know that it is in the Constitution, ang karapatan ng bawat Pilipino. My message to whoever will take my place, remember and safeguard the Constitution. This is not my country. This is our country! Are you small? No, because you have God inside you." -DENR Secretary Gina Lopez after the rejection from the Commission on Appointment.

Did Mar Roxas Really Said He Don't Need the Vote of the OFWs?

I won't vote for Mar Roxas but when I saw the graphic post above and read the link, I believe the above quote is a cheap shot and misinformation and even though I am not rooting for Mar, people deserve to know the truth and what did he ACTUALLY SAID in that interview in ISABELA.

Watch the video below to find out for yourself:

Exact caption below from what he said from the above video.
Here is the actual report via GMA NEWs

Interviewed by reporters in Cauayan City in Isabela province, Roxas said it is within Migrante or any group's rights to vote as they pleased. He also refused to give weight to the group's statements.

"Para sa Migrante at iba pang samahan, karapatan naman nilang na bumoto o hindi bumoto sa kahit na sinong kandidato. So iniiwan ko na lang sa kanila 'yun," he said.
Roxas insisted that it is the government's responsibility to seize contraband items, including bullets, from airline passengers. He said this way, Filipinos are protected from heavier punishment abroad.

"'Di policy ng pamahalaan, 'di policy ng Daang Matuwid ang magsamantala, o gumawa ng pangongotong, o maglaglag droga, maglaglag bala, laglag kahit na ano sa ating mga kababayan," he said.

Source here

In a separate and detailed news by RAPPLER NEWS here:

‘Not his fault either’
"Roxas also said he is not fazed by the laglag-boto (dropping of votes) campaign against him by overseas workers' rights group Migrante-Middle East.
“Para sa Migrante at iba pang grupo, karapatan naman nila na bumoto o hindi bumoto sa kahit sinong kandidato, iwanan na lang natin sa kanila,” Roxas said.
(For Migrante and other groups, it is their right to vote or not to vote for any candidate. Let us just leave it to them.)

He said he doesn't need to debate with the group over the issue because he has nothing to do with it."

I pity Roxas though, he need to be really clear in his answers and messages.

The OFWs, mostly in the social media are calling for Zero Votes of all LP national candidates because of the series of issues that affects OFWs and their families, issues like compulsory payment of terminal fee and later to fall in line and be refunded at NAIA.Other Issues like randomly opening Balikbayan Boxes, and now this laglag-bala at NAIA victimizing OFWs as well.

The sentiments of the OFWs with the current administration are best describe by this graphic from one of the pages in the Facebook.

Roxas needs to show that he cares for the OFWs and their families.

SO THERE IS NO TRUTH THAT MAR ROXAS ACTUALLY SAID THE EXACT WORDS:

"I DON'T NEED THE VOTES OF THE OFWs"

The Most Unprofessional Video Ads Against Call Center Capital Philippines?

UPDATE: AEGIS ISSUED AN APOLOGY

AEGIS ONLINE is said to be a Indian based call center or (BPO) Business Process Outsourcing company. We also read that the Aegis Online has taken this ads online.

One person ask why Aegis Online have to say these things, that Malaysia is a better option of moving to, against the Philippines.

Another commenter said that badmouthing the Philippines and the Filipino, in general is their way of sourgraping because they failed after acquiring some of the big company name in the Philippines or maybe because Philippines beats India in Call Center Rating.

We have many friends working in Malaysia, and this is nothing about a country, but about a certain company who produce this ad at the expense of degrading one country and its people, and highlighting the other.

Another comment: "Although some of the points they raised were true like the climate in the Philippines, but the mention of the Philippines being in the Pacific Ring of Fire is totally stupid!"
Image from 9dotstrategies.blogspot.com

Another comment express this: "wow, this is so absurd. There maybe things that are true, and factual, but do we really have to pull down something we are in competition with in order to bring ourselves up? tsk tsk."

Duterte: DEATH PENALTY IS NEEDED

Mayor Rodrigo Duterte of Davao respond to a question about Death Penalty. This video posted by Dr. Richard Mata has gained almost 9,000 shares in the social media, Facebook.
This is the incomplete transcript of what he said. Watch the video below to view the full detail of the quick interview last August 25.

"Matagal ko ng sinasabi yan, when I was a congressman...ako pa man din, ayaw ko. Sabi ko marami pa tayong patayin, huwag mong pigilan ang batas. Tapos it was not passed during our time, 11th congress, kami yung congress na nag-impeach ni Estrada. It was at that time na gusto nila i-lift ang death Penalty. Ayaw ko. Ayaw namin.

This shows how popular and how in line Mayor Duterte is to the sentiment of the people especially with the current wave of crimes and rapes, and death in the Philippines.

I admire the Mayor of Davao. I know it is not possible, but I know he can do something to lessen the crime in politics in the Philippines if ever he become president of the Philippines. Together with Miriam, they will truly be a perfect tandem.

Mayor Rodrigo Duterte: You Will Regret it if I Become President of the Philippines

Mayor Rodrigo Duterte is saying that the people will regret it if he decided to run and win as Philippine president.
MAYOR DUTERTE: MAGSISISI KAYO KUNG AKO ANG MAGIGING PRESIDENTE!

Anchorwoman: Now because of the Senate Hearing, lumakas na ang panawagan na ikaw ay tatakbong pagkapangulo ngayong 2016 na election?

Mayor Duterte: Kayong mga taga Davao at kayong mga Pilipino, makinig kayo ha. Sinabi ko na dati, at sinasabi ko ulit for the nth time dito: Hindi ako interesado na maging Presidente, hindi ako qualified, di ko gusto, wala akong makukuha dyan.

So i hope that, you know, yang mga naglalaro ng pangalan ko dyan sa pagiging presidente, Stop it! I'm pleading to you to stop it.

I just treat it nonchalant.

Anchorwoman: Papatayin mo lahat?

Mayor Duterte: Basta magsisisi kayong lahat!
