In most of the Mindanao area, Robredo is winning, as well as in Iloilo, Negros and Cebu region and of course the Bicol region. Marcos on the other hand is landslide in Solid North in Luzon, and Samar and Leyte as well as in NCR region. Overseas Absentee Voting is a big factor in this very tight election result.

85% of election returns are counted, and the provinces of Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Apayao and Abra will go for Marcos.
The National Capital Region definitely is a landslide for Bongbong Marcos with almost 99% of the election results are counted.
The provinces of Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental is a landslide win for Robredo knowing that Roxas won in this region.
This is the banking support of Marcos. Depending on the number of overseas Filipinos who voted, with only 16% of the election returns are counted, Marcos and Cayetano said to be winning in the exit polls in this area. USA, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Hongkong are the countries to watch out for. With over 400K voted, we will see if 200K votes will go for Marcos to overtake Robredo.
With 93% of the election returns are counted, the Solid North portion of Ilocos and LaUnion and Pangasinan gave Marcos a landslide victory.
Cagayan Valley, Nueva Ecija, Isabela and Quirino also gave Bongbong Marcos a landslide win with 90% of the election returns processed.
Another landslide win for Marcos at 97% election returns processed are the cities of Zambales, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Bulacan and Bataan.
This is a tossed up region, CAVITE, LAGUNA, BATANGAS, RIZAL and QUEZON with 95% election returns processed is a DUEL with almost 100K votes in favor Leni Robredo.
With only 85% of the election returns are counted, Leni is leading double than what Marcos votes. These are provinces in Oriental and Occidental Mindoro and Palawan.
These provinces in Mindanao, went for Leni Robredo. Zamboanga Del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboaga Sibugay. 93.7% of election returns.
This is part of the Bicol bailiwick of Leni Robredo, a landslide win for her with 93% election returns. Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, Albay, Sorsogon, and Masbate.
Antique, Aklan, Iloilo, and Capiz as well as the tiny island of Guimaras went for Leni Robredo, with 90% election returns. Roxas won in this region.
Cebu, Bohol and Siquijor went for Leni Robredo with over 200K votes at 96% election returns.
Eastern Samar, Western Samar, Norther Samar, Biliran and Leyte is a tossed up between Marcos and Robredo with 90% election returns.
Misamis Oriental, Misamis Occidental, Camiguin and Bukidnon, Lanao Del Norte with 93% election return went for Leni Robredo.
This is the big slashed in the votes of Marcos as over a million votes went for Cayetano, the region of Davao del Sur, Davao del Norte, and Davao Oriental and Compostela Valley
with 93% of election returns processed, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani Province and South Cotabato went for BongBong Marcos only with a small margin.
This is where Leni Robredo is hoping to make a wide margin with only 78% of election returns and she is leading by a wide margin. These are the provinces of Surigao and Agusan.

BINAY, POE and ROXAS SPENT BILLIONS IN TV ADS, DUTERTE, ONLY P257MILLIONS?

Duterte

Even as he flip-flopped on whether to run for the highest post in the land, Duterte began spending on TV ads in March 2015, releasing P11.9 million for that month alone. He continued to advertise every month until June 2015, when his spending spiked at P69.1 million, before he took a break.

He began spending again for TV ads in December – P4.03 million. By that time, two Social Weather Stations (SWS) pre-election surveys had already come out, with him coming in fourth in terms of voter preference in the survey conducted from September 2 to 5, 2015. And suddenly he was first in the November 26 to 28, 2015 survey.

It's notable that he resumed spending for TV ads after he cursed Pope Francis for causing traffic during his visit to the Philippines in January 2015.

Duterte continued to spend monthly until March, simultaneous to the time when he was not faring well in the survey. He was fourth in the pre-election poll conducted from December 12 to 14, 2015 and in the poll conducted from January 8 to 10, 2016.

By the time the survey conducted from February 5 to 7, 2016 came out, he was tied in second place, but in the March 4 to 7, 2016 poll, he was again in fourth place. His spending on TV ads was a far cry from the hundreds of millions his rivals spent – P257.4 million, or the equivalent of 8,895 seconds of airtime.

Binay

Binay jumped into the fray in May 2015, spending P72.2 million to dwarf Duterte’s spending for the same month – P17.6 million. The vice president continued to advertise on TV until March 2016, only skipping July and August 2015.

The millions he poured into the TV ads seemed to work, as his standing in the SWS surveys only shifted between first and second place. He was second in the September survey, the November survey, and the March survey. He was first in the December survey, in the January survey, and in the February survey. His TV spending peaked in January 2016 at P355.5 million. In total, he spent P1.4 billion from May 2015 to March 2016, the equivalent of 62,640 seconds of airtime.

Roxas

Roxas began placing TV ads in August 2015, spending 130.3 million and becoming the first candidate to spend more than P100 million in one month. He continued to spend monthly until March 2016.

Unfortunately, this did nothing to better his standing in the pre-election survey, as he was consistently in third place from September to March, except for December, where he was in second place.

His spending peaked in January at P270 million.
Poe

Like Roxas, Poe started placing TV ads in August 2015, at P49.7 million, less than half of what the former spent. She immediately made up for it, however, by being the top spender in September 2015, doling out P100.3 million. She continued to spend monthly until March 2016, spending the biggest amount after the Christmas break, at P228.6 million.

Just as she was consistent in spending for TV ads, she was also consistent in her positive ranking in the pre-election surveys. She was either in first or second place from September to March. In total, she spent P1.09 billion on TV ads from August 2015 to March 2016.
Santiago

Despite consistently being in the bottom of the pre-election surveys from September to March, Santiago only began to try to remedy her standing by placing TV ads in February 2016. Then she paid out a relatively modest P15 million. In March 2016, she spent P25.3 million.

She was the only candidate who began placing TV ads only after the filing of certificates of candidacy in October 2015.

Combined, all candidates have spent more on TV ads in the first three months of 2016 than the entire 2015 – at P1.97 billion and P1.88 billion, respectively.

WHAT ARE THE STEPS TO TAKE IF YOUR RECEIPT HAS DISCREPANCY WITH YOUR ACTUAL BALLOT

Few weeks ago rumors had been circulating that voter's receipt does not reflect who they really voted for in their ballot. Until a video of this woman who is an OFW from Hong Kong surfaced. She narrated that she voted for Duterte, checked it several times to make sure she shaded the right candidate before  but the receipt from the PCOS machine showed it is Mar Roxas. According to her the BEI asked her to sign at the back of the receipt and they made a log of the incident. However advise was given to her to ask for ballot number. But when she went back to ask for it, most of the staff told her there is no ballot number, as she waited it was eventually released and given to her.

Here is the process when voting overseas:

Another post from a Filipino who voted in Toronto, Canada posted the following where the consulate there did not allow him to insert his ballot to the PCOS machine but instead asked him to put it in an envelope and drop it in the box.

Some points you may want to do when voting:

Remember or take note of your ballot number this will serve as your reference and proof that you voted. It is prohibited to take pictures of ballot. When I voted, they did not said anything against memorizing your ballot number, you may ask if you could write it down, but if they tell you that it's not allowed. You have the option to memorize it. And you can use it as reference against any anomaly that might happen while voting.

The Comelec prohibits taking picture of ballots, in which any violation could result to imprisonment of more or less 2 years  according to the BEI who assisted me. And it also makes sense because it could be used for vote buying. Where politicians could demand proof that you voted for them in exchange for money. But these kind of politician will not have access on ballots. So I personally don't see anything wrong about taking note of your ballot number.

Your ballot number will serve as reference and proof that you voted and who you voted for.
Check your receipt if it is correct and report to BEI any discrepancy.
Don’t leave the precinct if your receipt doesn’t reflect who you voted for. We admonish voters to fight for your right and that your v If your vote or receipt is not correct, DEMAND that it will be logged sa MINUTES(logbook) ng BEI or Board of Election Inspectors and the watchers will take note of it.

In this video the Comelec gave guidance on the process that needed to be done if your receipt does not match the vote you cast on your ballot.

advertisement

Please respect the teachers assigned as Bureau of Election Inspectors kasi volunteers lang din sila. Hindi nila control kung ano ang nangyayari sa loob ng voting machines. We aren’t breaking laws here, We demand a clean and honest election. The receipt is the most important thing here. It should reflect who you voted. Dahil ito ang gagamitin natin sa “manual counting” in case mag protest tayo. The cheating will be inside the voting machine kaya these receipts are our last defense.
I REPEAT DON’T LEAVE THE PRECINCT IF YOU’RE RECEIPT IS WRONG!!!!! Dapat masulat ito sa logbook(minutes) ng BEI bago lumabas. THE RECEIPT IS OUR TICKET TO SALVATION. IT IS OUR RIGHT!

I will give you a possible programming inside the voting machine,

If(presidentvoted=Duterte && ikaw-ay-pang-anim-na-voter) then PLUS 1 sa boto ni Mar, tapos print out resibo=Duterte.

If(presidentvoted=Duterte && ikaw-ay-pang-41-na-voter) then PLUS 1 sa boto ni Mar, tapos print out resibo=Duterte.

Bayan natin nakasalalay dito. Since not everyone ay may Internet, make this OUR MISSION, OUR DUTY during election,
1. Maaga tayong pumunta sa mga presinto.
2. I inform lahat ang naka linya sa presinto tungkol sa RESIBO. Kung may discrepancies dapat ma log ito sa MINUTES(logbook) ng BEI. Tulungan natin kapwa kung ano ang mga dapat gawin. Let's DO IT! Educate them dahil hindi alam ng iba na may resibo pala.

Duterte's Option if Comelec Don't Allow Him To Run As President

The complications of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte's Presidential bid has brought so many rumors with other possible options so he could run as presidential candidate. Last week, OFW Family Party List Rep. Roy Señeres offered him a chance to become his substitute with 3 conditions, along with this he must also transfer to his political party.

Mayor Duterte filed his COC already as a substitute for Martin Diño as PDP-Laban  presidential candidate.
In a statement made by Mayor Duterte, he made it clear that without Allan Cayetano as his tandem (Vice President) he would withdraw. He also added that Comelec simply has to decide the matter legally and if his bid as Presidential candidate won't be accepted he will simply retire.

"I don’t have any problem with that if it is the decision of the Comelec,” he said.
“If the Comelec decides to disqualify me, so be it. I won’t die if I don’t become President,” Duterte said.

Señeres Gives 3 Conditions For Duterte To Be His Substitute Candidate

OFW Family Party List Representative Roy Señeres said today that he is open to the possibility that Mayor Duterte would substitute him as the Presidential candidate. However, he mentioned 3 conditions must be met.

In order for this substitution to happen in case the conditions set by Señeres are met, according to the Commission on Elections, the substitute candidate, and the one withdrawing from Presidential bid should come from the same party or coalition. In line with this Señeres added “He (Duterte) could swear an oath of allegiance to the FPP. As a member, he could run for any position he pleases. No one’s stopping him from switching parties”.

Few days ago, he had a radio interview where he also said that they (Duterte and Señeres) should talk regarding supporting each other and he explained why he believes Sen. Grace Poe should be allowed to run.

RUDY DUTERTE IS RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES

WATCH: Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte finally said his candidacy for president is already "on the table," following SET's decision on Sen. Grace Poe's citizenship. #Halalan2016Read the full story here: http://bit.ly/1PGhn4A

I am a pro-Duterte OFW, and the news brought joy to me personally that he has finally announced running for president.  In an event in Cavite, saying that he could not allow someone who only possess “presumptive Filipino citizenship” to run for president of the country, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte last night told former schoolmates from the San Beda College of Law and supporters that he was going to run for the country’s top position in the May 2016 national elections.

Read here via ABS-CBN

"After months of giving mixed signals about his presidential bid, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte on Saturday said he is finally going to run for the country's top post.
During a private party in Dasmariñas, Cavite, the feisty mayor said he decided to join the 2016 race after the Senate Electoral Tribunal (SET) voted against petitions to disqualify Grace Poe on the grounds of her citizenship.
"What made me decide to run? Was it an offer for money? No. Gusto ko lang sabihin sa lahat stop (expletive) with the Philippines. Nothing against Grace but if you run for the highest post in the land, it must be reserved for a true-blue Filipino,'' Duterte said.
"If ever you make it, you will be a presumptive president by citizenship. Hindi ko matanggap yung ganun. What will happen when she is disqualified because she is American? Give me an Igorot, an Aeta, a plumber. Kahit ano basta Pilipino. It is a matter of principle. Pagka ganun my candidacy for the presidency is on the table."
Before ending his speech, he challenged Poe to produce her birth mother to prove that she is Filipino.
"If she can prove she is Filipino then I will step down. I will be her (Poe) campaign manager."
Duterte arrived at the party with Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, who is running for vice president and has been rooting for a tandem with the Davao City mayor.
Duterte added that he is also in Luzon to seek the blessing of his partymates from the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban)."
