Every Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) should be an active member of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA). Through this membership, OFWs can avail of loans, acquire scholarship from TESDA, and avail of livelihood and entrepreneurship seminars and other reintegration programs upon their return to the Philippines.

OFW's can remain as an active member of OWWA by paying their membership fee of $25 or around P1,300 pesos per two years.

This membership fee can be paid by the OFW itself during his vacation in the country or through the OWWA mobile app if he's in abroad working.

Yes, this is very much easy and possible! When paying for OFW's membership in OWWA, a family member should bring the following;
- Valid Employment Contract of an OFW
- Certificate of Employment of an OFW
- Valid Work Permit or Work Visit of an OFW
- Photocopy of OFW's passport showing the identification and photo
- Authorization Letter from the OFW
- A valid ID of the family member
For married OFWs, a spouse can pay the OWWA membership here in the Philippines. If the OFW is single, the parents or siblings.
