The Bring Home A Friend (BHAF) is a referral incentive program wherein Filipinos or Philippine expats who invite foreigners to visit the country would have a chance to win a prize which started 1994 from the leadership of former Tourism Secretary Mina Gabor.  Three sponsors and invitees would be selected on the grand draw,” the DOT-BHAF website disclosed.  Those who are qualified to join in the sponsors category are Filipinos of legal age or 18 years old and above; Filipinos with dual citizenship living in the Philippines or abroad as residents or overseas contract workers of legal age; and foreigners (expatriates) living in the Philippines permanently or temporarily for a minimum of six months prior to the raffle, of legal age.  Those who are qualified to join in the invitees category, on the other hand, are the ones holding a foreign passport or dual citizenship living abroad for a minimum of six months prior to the event; and have traveled to the Philippines during the specified period of time.
