While they were abroad, they contacted a certain Cristina Ocampo Dizon, who introduced herself as a wedding coordinator. They came to know the person through a social media page named "KD Weddings". They were ccordinating with her about their wedding in good faith that she was indeed a professional wedding planner. On March, before going home prior to their wedding, they paid a sum of P142,000 to the said wedding coordinator. After sending the money, the coordinator replied after a week. When the couple went home to the Philippines, they can no longer contact the person. Later they found out that Ocampo has swindled many people using the same modus, everyone has paid her an awful lot of cash which, if summed up, will cost over a million pesos.
