4 Rape Suspects Of A "Special" Daughter Of OFW Arrested after Four Long Years


After four long years, the gang rape suspects who attacked a teen lady with "special needs" in Tanay, Rizal on 2013 has now finally arrested. The suspects said that the victim was not forced to do it and that she was at it willingly.  On August of 2013, seven suspects successively raped a 13 year old girl in a remote area in Tanay, Rizal. The suspects boastfully narrate what they did to the special child and evryone in the community already knew about what happened. The victim's family had no idea that it was the "special child" who was victimized because the girl did not tell them anything. The girls's grandmother had suspicions when she noticed sudden changes in the young girl's behavior. She talked to her and confessed about what had happened. After learning the girl's horrible ordeal, they decided to file a complaint to the local Police and immediately ordered a manhunt for the arrest of the  culprits.  One of the suspects surrendered to the authorities while the other two, who are both minors were caught  and turned over to the DSWD.  Four of the suspects  had been on the run eversince and was later arrested by the  Quezon City Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) with the arrest warrant. They confessed of the gang rape but they insist that they did not force the "special child" and did it on her own will. And according to them, the victim was the one who called them to come over. The OFW said that she is happy about the progress of the case but she still want her daughter to undergo counselling because her daughter has been acting differently since the  sexual abuse happened.  From a sweet girl, she has turned into a grumpy and easily angered girl that seem to be far different from the girl she knows.
