POEA: 100,000 New Jobs In Japan - International Employment For Filipinos To Open Soon

Good News for the OFWs and jobseekers! Additional 100,000 possible jobs in Japan will open soon and they will more likely to prioritize hiring Filipino workers. POEA Officer-In-Charge Bernard Olalia said that The japan Ministry of Health and Labor has told them that they will open the Japanese market for Filipino skilled and semi-skilled workers through Technical Intern Training Program (TITP). Advertisements Officials from both countries are drafting the memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the said program, according to reports. The opening of jobs in Japan is just in time should the OFWs in South Korea be displaced due to the tension involving North Korea and they will be the ones to benefit if the job openings will soon push through. There are still no job orders released by the POEA but they are encouraging the jobseekers to regularly check the POEA website as the announcement will be out anytime soon and they will give updates only through their official website only.
