President Rodrigo Duterte hit back at Chelsea Clinton, former United States president's daughter for reacting to his recent remark on rape.
Duterte said at the Sasa Wharf during 119th Philippine Navy celebration in Davao City.
Duterte once again repeated his statement in the latter part of his speech.
The only daughter of former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton earlier called Duterte a "murderous thug" while she called him out his rape remark.
Monica Lewinsky was an intern at the White House when she had sexual encounters with the former President. The scandal broke out in 1998 but it actually happened in 1995-1997. Chelsea was only 18 years old when her dad’s misbehavior was exposed.
Duterte also accused American soldiers of raping the women in countries where they were assigned.
President Duterte clarified that he only implied that whatever the soldiers do, he have to answer for it as their commander in chief.
