OFW From Saudi Arabia Seen Wandering At NAIA Terminal 2

The family of an overseas Filipino worker (OFW)  who was deployed in Saudi as a household service worker was in deep confusion on how their loved one ended up wandering at the Ninoy Aquino National Airport Terminal 2 when she was presumed missing in the gulf country.

Some NAIA Flights To Be Diverted To Sangley Airport Before Yearend— DOTr


Due to the congestion issues at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport that it does not seem to accommodate the volume of air passenger going to and from the airport, President Dutert directed Department of Transportation (DOTr) to divert some of its flights to Sangley Airport in Cavite before the year-end.

Man Found Lifeless Inside A Comfort Room At NAIA Terminal 3

A man was found “unresponsive” and declared dead inside a restroom cubicle at the Ninoy Aquino International Airpor (NAIA) Terminal 3 last Sunday.

 The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) reported that a janitor saw the man enter the restroom and alerted the authorities when the man didn’t come out.

 The man was initially identified as Richard Alexander Pareñas, who apparently went to the restroom past 6 a.m.

 In a statement, MIAA’s medical team said Pareñas was found on a toilet seat, “unresponsive to any form of verbal or physical stimulation, with dilated pupils and was without a pulse, spontaneous breathing or heartbeat.”

Meanwhile, Manila International Airport Authority Chief Ed Monreal said that upon review of the footages from CCTV and personnel body cams, they found no signs of irregularity at the NAIA. 
It was further observed from records that eleven (11) previous Saudia Airline flights yielded several reports from Filipino deportees saying they lost items from their luggage which were checked-in by Saudi authorities. 
Monreal also appeals to people like Mr. Andrew Montes to use social media responsibly to avoid spreading baseless allegations which drag the whole country to degradation.

An overseas Filipino worker (OFW) was able to retrieve her bag with over P200,000 after she accidentally left it in a taxi she took from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport earlier this week.

Catalina Frado who owns the bag containing jewelry and an ATM card with access to an account with P243,000, with the help of the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), recovered her bag.

MIAA officials helped the OFW by tracing the unnamed taxi driver. The taxi driver initially denied it was with him but later admitted he left the items with his friend.

This is what happens to a Filipina from Hawaii after 416 .38-caliber bullet casings were found in her luggage. The woman arrived in NAIA terminal 2 on Monday, July 2, 2018, from Honolulu Hawaii and had a connecting flight to Laoag, Ilocos Norte. The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) did not identify the woman but said she is a Filipino with US Citizenship. According to MIAA statement, a security screener monitored an image resembling a large amount of ammunition in her bag during a routine X-ray inspection. The bullet casings were later found inside, contained in a plastic bag and then placed in a box. The woman said the box belonged to her brother-in-law who had asked her to carry it. She is being told that the box contained clothes. She added that she did not know that she is carrying bullet casings. Meanwhile, the MIAA General Manager Eddie Monreal clarified that the incident is not a "tanim-bala" because the woman admitted that she carried the box. After the documentation, the woman was allowed to board her flight after the investigation that she has no intention to do harm.

The woman arrived in NAIA terminal 2 on Monday, July 2, 2018, from Honolulu Hawaii and had a connecting flight to Laoag, Ilocos Norte. The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) did not identify the woman but said she is a Filipino with US Citizenship. According to MIAA statement, a security screener monitored an image resembling a large amount of ammunition in her bag during a routine X-ray inspection. The bullet casings were later found inside, contained in a plastic bag and then placed in a box. The woman said the box belonged to her brother-in-law who had asked her to carry it. She is being told that the box contained clothes. She added that she did not know that she is carrying bullet casings. Meanwhile, the MIAA General Manager Eddie Monreal clarified that the incident is not a "tanim-bala" because the woman admitted that she carried the box. After the documentation, the woman was allowed to board her flight after the investigation that she has no intention to do harm.

OFW Help Desks From TESDA Now Available at International Airports
