The OFW was identified as Eva Alfon, 38, from Negros Oriental who was deployed as a household worker in Saudi Arabia. She was found disoriented, seemingly not on her right state of mind and extremely hungry. A good samaritan gave her something to eat and contacted the family of the OFW.
The husband was so emotional when he met her. With the help of the program hosted by Mr. Raffy Tulfo, they located her OFW wife and reunited with them.
Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello assured the victim that she will get appropriate justice for what she suffered abroad. The agency who deployed her is facing a risk of being blacklisted due to its negligence.
