The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) are hopeful that the Philippines can deploy hotel worker in Israel as early as November this year.
DOLE Secretary Silvestre Bello III confirmed that there may soon be 5,000 openings for Filipino hotel workers in the said country. According to reports, the Israeli government has expressed a preference for Filipino workers to fill the job positions.

Bello assures that the pay is always very good since caregivers are receiving $1, 350 to $2,000 a month in the said country. He added that hotel workers may have the same amount of salary.
If you are planning to apply for this job, DOLE advised soon to be applicants to prepare and secure a certificate from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). It said that this is one of the requirements for applicants who want to enter the hotel and restaurant industry.

According to the Labor Department that aside from Israel, Japan and Germany have also opened more jobs for Filipino workers. Japanese Ambassador Koji Haneda said through the residency status the country is planning to offer, more skilled foreign workers will be able to get job opportunities in his country next year.
In his speech at the 44th Philippine Business Conference at the Manila Hotel, Haneda said Japan will create a new residency status for foreign workers with a certain level of expertise or skill starting next year.
