Know The Highest Paying OFW Jobs Abroad

The very reason why Filipinos work overseas is that they want bigger salaries that they will surely not get with the same job description and position they are having in the Philippines. Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) are willing to risk everything just for the higher salary that they can get by working abroad because it would mean higher earnings at shorter period of time. Lets say a local factory worker could only get a minimum wage of P512 x 26, and note that they cannot get that whole P13,312. Minus the taxes and all, they were lucky if they can get P7,000 - P8,000 take home pay. Whereas if they work abroad, that would be more than double. The highest paid OFWs are engineers, healthcare professionals, and IT professionals, with most of them earning by as much as P99,000 monthly. Workabroad.ph annual report revealed that a ship master in the United States can earn P99,000, while a chief engineer can earn P96,000 a month. Middle East and Asia-Pacific gives land-based engineers a monthly salary of P57,000 to P59,000 per month. In the Middle East, the most highly paid professionals are those in the field of health care. Pediatricians can earn as much as P86,000 per month, nurses can earn P65,000 while veterinarians can earn P58,000. IT professionals in Asia-Pacific with 0 to 4 years of experience can already earn as much as P54,000. According to the survey, the top 10 countries of deployment are: Saudi Arabia United Arab Emirates Singapore Hong Kong Qatar Kuwait Taiwan Italy Bahrain Malaysia Sponsored Links Skilled OFW workers are still the most in-demand abroad. In the Middle East, Filipinos can find opportunities in general work such as drivers, electricians, and AC, auto, refrigeration, plumbing, and maintenance technicians as well as engineering-related jobs which include mechanics and electrical technicians and food/beverage/restaurant service sectors like cooks, waiters/waitresses, and baristas. In the Asia-Pacific, skilled workers like carpenters, household service workers, and caretakers are highly in demand. More opportunities also for engineering-related segment for technicians and technical operators and in the manufacturing/production operations segment for factory workers, production and machine operators, and welders. Just be reminded that in applying for overseas jobs, always scrutinize the credibility of the recruitment agency. Make a habit of verifying the existing job orders with the POEA. While many OFWs apply for higher salary abroad, illegal recruiters are also lurking and waiting for their willing victims.
