Touching Story: A Child Who Missed His OFW Parents For 16 Christmases, Dreamt Of Being a Pilot And Bring His Parents Home Eventually Turned It Into A Reality


A touching story of a kid longing to be with his parents who are working overseas , dreamt of being a pilot to fly his mom and stepdad home for Christmas. A simple childhood dream that came into reality.    In a touching video watched by over a million people on social media, Juan Paulo Fermin is seen walking with a bouquet of flowers towards the seat where his mother was sitting on board plane in Vancouver when the flight going to Manila changed crew in Canada.   Sponsored Links    The video got heavily emotional when Fermin's mother got to see her son. You can tell that she was surprised big time seeing her son on a plane on their way home. For the first time in a long time she got to see and embrace her son again.    Fermin said that he actually planned for it when he found out a month prior that his parents would be flying via Philippine Airlines. He even asked a colleague to switch schedules with him so he could be in the cockpit on his parents' flight. The colleague agreed and he flew serving as the 2nd officer assisting the captain for the flight.    His mom had to leave him when he was 8 to marry his stepfather. He said his parents would usually visit the Philippines every 3 years, but this would be their first Christmas in the Philippines in 5 years.
