The movie tackles life situations that OFWs can surely relate. The cast admits making this kind of film requires sacrifices. Sometime it would require drawing from their own pockets, spending their day-off filming instead of taking time to rest after a long week of work. Some of them even said that the character and the emotions they portray gets into themselves even when they are not filming.
The movie has drawn support from various people including the Philippine Consulate in the UAE which hosted Lamentasyon's red carpet screening on November 15.
Some 350 guests attended the premier at the Grand Hyatt Vox led by Consul General Paul Raymond Cortes, Filipino Ladies of Dubai Chair Dr. Yasmin Cortes, Lamentasyon Director Archie Enriquez, and the film’s cast and crew.
The Filipinos in Dubai can now have the opportunity of watching this film. The producers and directors even look forward to showing the movie to the Middle East and eventually, the world.
