A Filipina who was married to an American was found dead inside a freezer and believed to be murdered by her husband who was also found dead due to self-inflicted gunshot.

24-year-old Alyssa Marie Mejia Rogers was found lifeless at their home in Liverhome Drive, Arlington, Texas. Police authorities are not sure though about how long she had been inside the freezer
According to a report from Dallas News, Alyssa Marie Mejia Rogers was inside a freezer and police are uncertain how long has she been dead and kept there.
According to the statement of a former co-worker, husband Edward Leon Rogers, 66, admitted that he killed his wife. The suspect's friend was skeptical at first but later convinced when he saw the freezer in their garage where the body was kept.

According to the report of Texas authorities, the couple got into a heated argument that resulted to Alyssa's death. She hit her head on the corner of an object during the commotion.
Alyssa has been a victim of domestic violence by Edward and had already filed a divorce against her husband. Alyssa brought her son to the Philippines before the incident. She then head back to the U.S. and stayed with her husband because according to her sister, she really love Edward in spite of the maltreatment she was experiencing.
The suspect allegedly shot himself after confessing the crime to their family and friends.
