The Department of Health (DOH) is seeking to regulate selling and using of e-cigarettes and vaporizer products in the country, citing the health risk for users, especially young people. DOH Said that it has harmful synthetic chemicals and nicotine as well.
Health Undersecretary Eric Domingo said that vape should not be openly available to the young people and non-smokers. Even those who does not smoke start using vape and end up being smokers.
For people who are less than 25 years of age, vaping affects the brain development causing it to arrest the normal development of the brain and the intellect of the young people who use it. vape can be potentially poisonous according to Domingo.

According to Domingo, there should also be laws prohibiting the use of e-cigarettes and vaporizers in public places. Non-vapers should be protected from the smoke emitted by vapes. Non-smokers should have the right to breathe clean air even in the public places.
The World Health Organization had issued a warning against the use of e-cigarettes because these are "undoubtedly harmful" and should be regulated.
E-cigarettes also expose its users to potential physical harm following the incidents of these device exploding because it uses batteries to be operated.
