The Alpha Company of the 73rd Infantry Battalion (IB) of the Philippine Army has built huts for New Peoples Army (NPA) surrenderees where they can stay while their requirements to claim their benefits under Comprehensive Local Integration Program (CLIP) is being processed.

Dubbed as "Pahulayan ni kauban" the hut is divided into two to separate women from men. They allocated P25,000 funds for the building
Alpha Company commanding officer 1Lt. Daryll Cansancio it was already used rebel returnees who are currently training to be members of Citizen Armed Force Geographical Unit (CAFGU).
The government forces continue in their offensive in chasing NPA rebels and other government offenders since President Rodrigo duterte declared all out war against the terrorist rebel group.
The government has cancelled peace talks following reports of the NPA attacking police and the army in spite of existing peace talks
There are thirteen NPA rebels who already surrendered to the government through the said program.
