Pagkuha ng lisensya sa Pinas, hihigpitan na; 15 hours of training, kailanganin

Matapos makakuha ng bagong impormasyon tungkol sa dami ng naitalang paglabag sa batas-trapiko, magiging mas mahigpit na raw ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) sa mga nais kumukuha ng lisensya.

Ayon sa LTO, bago makakuha ng student's permit ang isang aspiring driver ay kakailangan muna nitong magkaroon ng 15 oras ng training mula sa isang accredited driving school. Itong naging plano ng ahensya matapos makita ang recent statistics na inilabas ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).

Sa datos mula sa MMDA, mga 12,000 na tsuper sa Metro Manila ang nagkaroon ng hindi bababa sa tatlong traffic violations. Bukod pa rito, ang pinakamatinding kaso raw na naitala ay ang sa isang bus driver na nakagawa ng lampas 500 violations simula noong 2005.  

Balak ng LTO na ipatupad ang additional requirement para sa mga student driver simula sa darating na Abril.

"Higpitan ang pagkuha ng lisensya, actual at written test. Pati 'yong nag-approve sa kanya ng LTO, at 'yong nanghuhuli ay may pananagutan din. First offense, light violation, multa at seminar ulit. Second offense, six months suspension. Third offense, revocation of drivers license," wika ni Reynaldo Mendiola.

"Dapat kasi gayahin n'yo ang systema sa ibang bansa may points system ang violations. Kapag beating the red light o counterflow, pinakamataas ang points. Kapag lumampas sa limit ang violations ng driver in one year, hindi na mare-renew o automatic cancel ang lisensya. 'Di 'yong mga student permit pag-iinitan nyo," ani Ray Mun.

Video on Chinese Social Media Alleges That People are Spitting in Public to Spread the Coronavirus

China virus death toll surges past 1,500 while more than 66,000 people have now been infected. On the other hand, this Chinese coronavirus social media video widely circulated on Chinese social media alleges that people are spitting in public in a bid to spread the coronavirus in the affected country.

A woman was caught on CCTV maliciously spreading the virus by putting water in her mouth and spitting it onto surfaces people touch and sit on.




And this another video caught in CCTV, a Chinese family of four from Guangxi province deliberately spat on tissue & smeared their saliva all over elevator buttons.

A woman in the epicenter city of Wuhan was caught on surveillance video sneaking out late at night during the quarantine and spitting on a doorknob in her apartment complex, according to the Taiwan News.
A person who discovered the footage reported it to security guards. Moments later, police officers clad in hazmat suits arrived and sanitized public areas in the building.
Authorities said the case is under investigation, adding that more than 30 of the building’s residents have tested positive for coronavirus and that more than 90 have fevers, the news outlet reported.
It was unclear if the woman — whom many people described as “a demon walking on Earth” and “a sociopath trying to take revenge on her own country” — also was infected by the virus.

In UAE, If You Are Infected with Corona Virus, Your Bill Is Free

Whether they have insurance or not, novel coronavirus (nCoV) patients in the UAE will be treated for free, health authorities assured.

In a recent Dubai Health Authority (DHA) circular issued to hospitals based on directives from the Ministry of Health and Prevention (Mohap), all DHA-licensed health facilities must consider suspected or confirmed cases of the 2019-nCoV as emergency cases.

The circular stated that all health facilities must classify the cases in two categories: one for those with insurance coverage and another where insurance coverage is unavailable.

"If the patient has insurance, the cases shall be treated as emergencies according to insurance regulation and insurance companies will honour any claims received," it noted.

Meanwhile, for those who are not insured, "the cases shall still be considered emergencies and suspected or confirmed cases will not bear any payment of healthcare costs at any healthcare facilities."

The move aims to ensure the health and safety of the community and to contain patients with confirmed or suspected infection, and provide them with proper health services.

Currently there are five nCoV-positive patients in the UAE, including a four-member Chinese family and a Chinese tourist.

Recently, one of them--a 73-year-old woman from China--has recovered from coronavirus. She thanked the Emirati health officials for the care provided to her and to the three members of her family.
