8 Stunning House Plans That Show-Off The Beauty of Nordic Home Designs

Scandinavian designs also known as Nordic are known for three main characteristics: simple, affordable, and functional. Our house number one is a beautiful example of Nordic home style. The interior appearance is consists of three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen, a living area, and storage. On the exterior, it has a parking garage that can accommodate one car. This house plan has a total living area of 144 square meters. As to the minimum lot requirement, you need at least 12 by 12 for building this one. 

The construction budget is $53,000. This beautiful home plan is designed by TM Homes in Thailand.


House Design No. 2

Scandinavian houses are known for their simple design. Neutral colors, natural materials, and elements of nature are all often found in bright Scandinavian designs. The same things are usually also found on the exteriors of the homes. 

Our house number two is a Scandinavian home plan that is simple, stylish, and exemplifies the essential elements of Scandinavian design. This house plan is consists of three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen and dining area, a living room, and a one-car garage. 

The total living area is 162 SQM while the minimum lot requirement needed is 13.5 by 12 meters. The estimated construction budget of this one is $60,000. This one is also created by TM Designs in Thailand.

House Design No. 3 

If you strongly believe that there's beauty in simplicity, then this Scandinavian design is for you. Weathered wood siding covers the home, and the garage to create a cohesive looking exterior that’s modern, warm, and inviting. 

This one is composed of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and dining area, and parking for two cars. The total living area of this house is 120 SQM. Wood white siding has all been used on this exterior to create a design that’s clean, simple, functional, and stylish.

We love the idea of humanism and the organic nature of Nordic design in this house plan. When it comes to this home plan, simplicity, comfort, and connection to nature are the things that this Scandinavian home design offers. This one is a single-detach house in Nordic style with an outstanding and stylish design like no other European architecture. It emphasizes airiness, brightness, and warmth at every angle. For this home plan, you can choose to have a three-bedroom and three bathrooms or two bedrooms and two bathrooms. 

For three bedrooms and three bathrooms, this house will be having a 140 SQM that includes 105 SQM for the house and 35 SQM for the garage.

For a smaller house with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, you may have 120 SQM as a total living area including 85 SQM from the house and  35 SQM for the garage.

One of the most beautiful Nordic home design on this list. This one is a single-story U-shaped house in Scandinavian style. The facade is consists of a garage on the left-side while the bedroom balcony on the right. The middle ground is set for an outdoor deck, a patio, and a wooden porch next to the entrance.

This house plan consists to have two bedrooms — the main bedroom has its dressing room, three bathrooms, a living area, storage, parking for two cars, and two upstairs balconies. The total usable area of this house is 131 SQM. 

From the plan, it can be seen that the designer emphasizes the privacy of the residents in particular by setting two bedrooms both from the different side.
