DUTERTE IS THE FIRST FROM MINDANAO TO BE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC

All regions of the islands of Mindanao gave Rodrigo Duterte a landslide victory for a total of 5,697,655 votes according to the partial and unofficial tally. He is the first and only Mindanaoan elected to the highest office since the Philippines become a republic. Never has there been a solidying force and a united effort to elect him to the highest office.

In the Visayas region, only Region 7 gave him a landslide victory, from Cebu, and Bohol with over 1 million votes. The rest went to their homeboy, Mar Roxas.

Another surprising mandate from Rodrigo Duterte is the vote he garnered from the National Capital Region. Metro Manila gave him a whooping 2 million votes!

From the provinces of Maguindanao, TawiTawi, Sulu and Basilan

Region 9 composed of Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga del Norte and Zamboanga Sibugay

Misamis Oriental, Misamis Occidental Camiguin and Bukidnon is the Region 10

Region 11 is the DAVAO BLOCK, composed of Davao del Sur, Davao del Norte, Davao Oriental Davao City and Compostela Valley, obviously giving Duterte a landslide with a hometown advantage.
