This American Thanks The Filipino's For Their Sweet Smile and Kind Heart

Never have I felt more loved, in my entire life than the time I spent in the Philippines... I truly believe that every single Filipino heart was carefully designed and created by God with the purpose of spreading more love throughout the world."

One of the members of a popular entertainment group, known as Hey Joe Show, gave tribute to the Filipinos citing the wonderful values and hospitality that he witnessed while living in the Philippines. 

Tyler served as Mormon or LDS missionary in the Philippines for two years. In his tribute he mentioned that the first thing he would remember when he arrived in the Philippines is that "every single Filipino smiled" at him.  

Filipinos are known for being hospitable to their visitors. As a missionary in the Philippines, one of the best things he observed is the hospitality. Tyler said, his stomach was always full. The number of times he was fed by many wonderful Filipino families cannot be counted anymore. According to him,  Filipinos are so kind, and gracious that even if it was the last cup of rice it will still be offered and given to him with a smile on the face. 

Not only did he mentioned the experiences he had as missionary. He was in the Philippines at the time of typhoon Yolanda and during the earthquake that devastated Bohol. During that time, he was so astonished at the positive outlook of many affected Filipinos who still managed to smile with hope that everything will be alright.  

His tribute also mentioned the faith of many underprivileged Filipino families, who according to him managed to live with just one candle in their homes but could still praise God and have hope for another day. 

 One of the best thing that perhaps we should be proud of is the pure love that he witnessed while living in the Philippines. Miles away, Mormon missionaries have to serve mission and sacrifice being far from their families for a period of two years. They get to call their parents only on special occasions like Christmas or Mother's Day. But, according to him many families welcomed him and treated him as  own son or own brother. In which he never felt more loved.

The group connected with many Filipino fans not only because of their fluency in Bisaya language but also with their funny videos and as they try to adapt and depict Filipino customs. 

The Hey Joe show is comprised of five members who all served as Mormon missionary in the Philippines. They all speak fluent Bisdak or Bisaya-Cebuano. And they met  President Duterte! In fact, the video below showed them giving their respect to President Duterte through the traditonal "mano", instead of handshake as you might do ,if you met the President. They also had a video with him dancing.

CNN Philippines `pays tribute to the OFWs around the world by featuring videos of their stories abroad and their families in the Philippines as well.

Dubbed as modern day heroes, the OFWs struggle working in an unfamiliar country with unfamiliar culture for the sake of giving a good future  for their family back home.

From CNN Philippines segment they called OFW week, we gathered the compilation of videos featuring the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).

The following videos talks about misconceptions about OFWs being rich and other typical scenarios. Learn the true story behind every OFW stories from a seaman and a son of former OFW.

The Duterte government has shown  enormous concern for OFWs. With programs to protect and safeguard the welfare of the modern day heroes, there are working overtime to do their duty to help OFWs around the world.
President Duterte wishes that this will be "the last generation of OFWs."
He vowed to fix the Philippines for every OFWs to come home for good never again to leave their families behind.

"In every OFWs that leave, there are crying children left behind."

Goodbye Francis Magalona - The Filipino Rap Icon

 This is our personal tribute.

This is an echo of Mighty Dacz blog post about the passing of Francis Magalona.

We are not a fan of rap. 

Truly, honestly, frankly.

But we admire him.

Not because we are the administrator (and it's known to his family and her star-actress daughter) of the 2nd oldest and one of the most popular and number one resource (if you Google) Maxene Magalona Fansite.

I still have more than a thousand photos and stories that is not yet uploaded and articles that is not published because of lack of time to do it or edit it.

Not because the Thoughtskoto family and his wife, Ms. Pia are friends and direct contact in Multiply

But we admire him, because of a few simple and seemingly priceless things to the world that he does.

His love to his wife...visible in public, more sweeter and more loving in private, at least the way we see it.

His way of rearing a large, and beautiful and handsome and yet smart and bright kids...

(May picture ako ng buong family nila, kasama ang mga boyfriends nila Maxene and Saab, (pati adopted nila, pinalaki at pinaaral...can you imagine a large family - 8 kids and yet may adopted?) and will post it here kapag nahanap ko na ngayon or bukas kasi I will post this blog entry to my Multiply, Friendster, Bloggers and Facebook ko)

And the way he did conduct his life although he had some shares of failures and mistakes too yet he rose above those things and left a legacy that some of us will never forget.

We are at lost of words for his passing at a very young age, 44-45. Today, we join you all in condoling his bereaved family, and praying for the repose of his soul.

im sorry but i beg to disagree on this one:
"Naisip ko lang I think yung isang reason na iniiwan ng mga magagandang lalaki ang kanilang mga asawa dahil seguro hindi na ito nagpapaganda, laspag na sa wikang kanto."
 hindi lahat ng mga babaeng iniiwan ng mga asawa nila eh dahil sa losyang na sila. meron lang talagang mga lalaking sadyang tinatamaan ng kagaguhan (sorry for the word) at nagagawang mang-iwan when in fact, sila naman ang nagsimula ng lahat..
 i asked for a loving husband and a lovely family...what did i get?
i got a pocketful of kunsumisyon, quite a handfull of wrinkles plus the fact that "he" left us...
 kaya ngayon, i dont ask anything at all... nadala na ako.. being disappointed and hurt once is already enough...

Yanah, Thank you for the comment.sabi ko "naisip ko lang" now I know na mali din yung naisip ko kasi you experience it talaga. 
 Kahit guy ako, I admit meron talagang mga lalaki na ganun. In fact iniwan din ang nanay ko ng tatay ko 6 years old pa lang ako. 
 But its not over, right? 
 You won't give up because you failed once. Hope is constant. Somewhere out there, sometime, youll find the right one. The one that you're asking...
 hehe, para na ba akong pari...

In less than a month na patuloy ko na pagsubaybay ng blog ni Ms. Yanah, nakilala ko sia at naging Kablogs. Marami akong blog na binabasa araw araw, at sa kababasa ko ng mga blog ninyo, pakiramdam at pakiwari ko'y matatalik ko kayong kaibigan. Sa ayaw man ninyo't sa gusto, wala kayong paki kung pingsisiksikan kong maging kaibigan kayo.

May ibang ibig sabihin ang paghanga at pag-iidolo. Ito'y mga bagay na nafefeel mo kung meron kang nagugustuhan o yun na nga, hinahangaan sa isang tao or blogero. Marami akong inaadmire, marami akong iniidolo sa blogosphere, marami akong blog na nababasa't nagbibigay saya at inspiration.

marami akong nakilalang Pinoy na Bloggers sa halos lahat na yata ng mga kontinente ng mundo.

After all yan ang pinakapurpose kung bakit ako nagblog, magkaroon ng maraming kaibigan, 

nevermind the number of visitors visiting their blogs, it doesn't matter to me,

never mind the lay-out and social bookmarking they've been listed,

or the nature of their jobs, or the status of their lives,

it don't care.

Every blog I read, or visited or commented, 

means I am reaching out for friendship.
