One Month Bonus For Government Employees In UAE Before Eid Al Fitr

All government employees and retirees will be given a bonus equivalent to one month’s basic salary in celebration of the 100th birth anniversary of the UAE’s founding father, the late Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, on May 6.

The Dh1.6 billion worth of payment will be made before Eid Al Fitr as announced on Saturday.

The President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, ordered the payment to all serving and retired government employees, civilians and military, as well as beneficiaries of social welfare services.

Dubai also ordered to give a bonus for all government employees.

“Sheikh Zayed was the symbol of giving during his lifetime and even after his death. Today, 100 years have passed since the birth of Sheikh Zayed, and the UAE will remain strong and stable for hundreds of years because of him,” the President said.

In accordance with the President’s order, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai also declared a salary bonus to be given for all government employees in Dubai as well.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council has instructed that the payment of bonuses be released before Eid al-Fitr.

The UAE government has reportedly allocated AED1.6 billion to fund the bonuses, equivalent to one-month basic salary, with AED50,000 as maximum and AED5,000 as a minimum.

Retirees will get a minimum bonus of Dh10,000 up to Dh50,000.

SSS pensioner will received P3,000 this March


Don't you know that as a pensioner of Social Security System or SSS, you will receive a total of P3,000 in your pension this month of March?  Yes, it is. This is a retroactive payment for the month of January, February, and March.  SSS already announced that the P1,000 pension hike for the month of January is already deposited in pensioners bank account since March 3.

Payments for the month of February and March will be remitted on March 10 and 17, respectively.

"Ngayon pong buwan, tatlong libo ang kabuuang additional benefit na matatanggap nila to cover the months of January to March," said SSS President and CEO Emmanuel Dooc
.

With the implementation of P1,000 increase, the minimum SSS pension amount of P1,200 will now be receiving P2,200 while those with at least 20 years in contributions will receive P4,200 monthly, from P3,200.



The highest pension is as much as P17,945 a month.
The second tranche of the P2,000 increase is expected to be remitted by 2019.
