SSS pensioner will received P3,000 this March

Don't you know that as a pensioner of Social Security System or SSS, you will receive a total of P3,000 in your pension this month of March?

Yes, it is. This is a retroactive payment for the month of January, February, and March.

SSS already announced that the P1,000 pension hike for the month of January is already deposited in pensioners bank account since March 3.

Payments for the month of February and March will be remitted on March 10 and 17, respectively.

"Ngayon pong buwan, tatlong libo ang kabuuang additional benefit na matatanggap nila to cover the months of January to March," said SSS President and CEO Emmanuel Dooc.

With the implementation of P1,000 increase, the minimum SSS pension amount of P1,200 will now be receiving P2,200 while those with at least 20 years in contributions will receive P4,200 monthly, from P3,200.



The highest pension is as much as P17,945 a month.
The second tranche of the P2,000 increase is expected to be remitted by 2019.

SSS pensioner can now withdraw additional P1,000 pension starting March 3, 2017

Is you or you parents a pensioner of SSS? Well, the long wait is over because, starting March 3, 2017, Friday, SSS retirees may withdraw in their bank accounts the additional P1,000 in their pension.

SSS released around P2 billion for its pensioner for the month of January after P1,000 pension hike is approved.

SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Emmanuel F. Dooc said more than 2.04 million pensioners can now get their additional P1,000 benefits.

According to the new process of pensioner's name listing by the Information and System Department, the money is already deposited in the bank account of pensioners and can be withdrawn starting, Friday, March 3, 2017.

All retirees, survivors, permanent or with partial disability pensioners will be able to get P1,000 additional in their pension.



New pensioner of SSS will be enjoying the same benefits.
Meanwhile, additional pension for the month of February and March will be given in the next Fridays of the month, March 10 and 17.

P1,000 SSS pension hike out this week

The long wait is over for pensioners of Social Security System or SSS that has been waiting for their P1,000 pension from the agency.

None other than the SSS Chairman Amado Valdez confirms that P1,000 increase in pension for SSS retirees will take effect this week.

You read it right after few months of waiting since last year.

Pensioners who have 20 years of SSS membership will get a minimum of P3,400, while those who have 10 years of membership will get at least P2,200.


The second P1,000 hike will be given before 2022 or earlier, Valdez said. 

The first tranche of planned P2,000 war originally scheduled for release last month but an economic team of President Rodrigo Duterte objected the increase unless it is funded internally by the SSS and not subsidized by the government.

Valdez said the documents for the first P1,000 trance is already in the Malacanang and the only waiting for the signature of Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea.

“One thing is for sure, siguradong sigurado ho naman yun (It’s a sure thing),” he said.
