Pagkuha ng SSS number, mas pinadali!

MANILA, Philippines — INANUNSYO ngayon ng Social Security System o SSS ang mas pinadali at mas pinahusay na proseso ng online application para sa Social Security o SS number kung saan maaari na ngayong gawing online ang pag-upload ng mga supporting documents.

Ayon kay SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Aurora C. Ignacio, hindi na kailangang bumisita pa sa mga branches ng SSS, dahil magagawa na ng mga miyembro online ang pag-a-upload ng mga supporting documents gaya na lamang ng mga sumusunod:

• Philippine Statistics Authority o PSA authenticated birth certificate
• Marriage contract kung kasal
• Baptismal Certificate kung may mga anak

Dahil maaaring magawa online, hindi na umano kailangang ng miyembro na isumite ang mga supporting documents sa pamamagtan ng drop-box system upang maging permanent ang status ng kani-kanilang mga SS number na inaplayan.

“Instead of visiting our branch offices, members can now upload supporting documents online such as copy of their birth certificate from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), marriage contract if married, or baptismal certificate if with children. They don’t have to submit the supporting documents via the drop-box system to make their SS Number application status permanent,” ang naging pahayag ni SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Aurora C. Ignacio.

Paliwanag ni Ignacio na importante ang pag-upload ng mga basic supporting document upang maging permanent ang status ng kanilang inisyu na SS Number at makapag-apply sa mga SSS benefits and privileges.

Mas madali umano ito lalo na ngayong panahon ng Covid-19 pandemic at mga pinatutupad na quarantine protocols kung saan maaaring dumiretso na sa SSS website ang mga new applicant at SSS members ayon sa kanilang oras at panahon upang maiwasan ang mahabang pila sa kanilang mga tanggapan o branches.

1.Go to the SSS website's online registration page (sss.gov.ph) or you can click here.
