PALIT-KANDADO NAKAW-GAMIT LAGLAG-BALA SCAM AT NAIA AIRPORT?

Two incidents of stealing from OFWs bag and luggages at the NAIA Airport just this week aside from rocking the world out of tanim-bala issue.
One of them is a 47-year-old passenger from Australia reveals she was not a victim of the "tanim-bala" modus but a different kind of tampering of her luggage.
Maria Remedios Ferreras, 47, flew to Manila from Australia, with a lay-over in Singapore, via Singapore Airlines last October 30.
When she arrived, she took her luggage from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 conveyor belts and went to her hometown in Laguna.
When she got home, Ferreras saw that the outer pocket of her luggage had been destroyed and the main lock of her luggage replaced.

Ferreras said she already informed her airline of the incident. ABS-CBN has also reached out to Singapore Airlines.
Ferreras said she now plans to avail of cling-wrap services so her luggage will not be tampered with.
While Ferreras feels helpless, she is hoping that the government will quickly act on such cases at the country's main airport.
